Description: Our focus is on providing a warm welcome, friendly attentive service and great food. Our flexible menu allows us to ensure items are fresh and seasonable. Real log fires for the cold winter months and a large beer garden for warmer weather provide plenty of reasons to visit all year round.

Amazing food I had the chicken leek and ham pie which was delicious. Full of huge peices of chicken n lots of leeks. My friend had the buttermilk chicken was was also very tasty. Desserts were baked Alaska wow!!!! Pimms trifle wasn't to either of our liking but that may have just been preference. Friendly accomadating staff in a clean rustic atmosphere. Look forward to the next visit

I'd advise booking a table as whenever we have dined there it is always very busy, excellent roast dinners, well presented food, lovely friendly staff, beautiful outlook onto fields of horses, swans and my husband actually caught a glimpse of a cormorant, wide range of drinks to choose from, I had a dandelion and burdock drink which I haven't had since a child. a must visit if in the area

Spacious premises with a good outlook and ample parking spaces. We chose sausages with mashed potato which was tasty and the gravy was excellent but the dish would have looked more attractive with the addition of some greens or perhaps diced carrots. Prior to the meal being delivered we had to point out to staff that some of the cutlery on the table was filthy, such was duly taken away. The dessert, one rhubarb crumble and one bowl of ice cream took an inordinate length of time to be delivered bearing in mind there were not more than 20 people dining at the time.
