We wanted just one night without spending too much because we would be in late and out early.
This worked out well, the front desk staff was very friendly and informative. A bit dated but quiet and close to the highway.
Could do without the front entrance being used as a smoking area.

The staff was hard working on maintenance outside the building both days I was there. This is an older property in which the owners seem to be taking pride. The staff was efficient. Not friendly or rude, just efficient. That works for me.

The breakfast area is a little small for the number of rooms on this property, but each room has a breakfast tray if you choose to eat in your room. In addition to the carb bar they offer fresh scrambled eggs and biscuits and sausage gravy. It does seem that every room is "pet friendly," which is a plus or minus depending upon your preferences.

Being an older property and with the Choice Hotels dark brown decorating theme, it makes the rooms look a little dated, even though the carpet, furnishings, etc. are up to date. Every room has a mountain view, albeit the south side of the building faces the interstate. However, the property is set back far enough off of the interstate that there is not an overpowering freeway noise.

Walking distance to a restaurant and brewery across the street, just a block from a Starbucks and a portion of the outlet mall. It would have been nice to learn from the staff before going to the brewery that there was a 10% discount. I found out after going there.

I flew out of Pittsburgh and arrived at another Choice Hotel in Denver in which I had a reservation only to be told they cancelled it since they were overbooked and they gave rooms away on a first come first serve basis. I was stuck in a part of the country that I did not know and no other hotels in Denver had any availability. I had to start driving to find a place to stay. Everywhere I stopped there were no vacancies. I ended up in Silverthorne, CO, nearly 2 hours away from Denver. I called the Quality Inn to see if they had a room. Sam answered the phone, had a room available then proceeded to keep me on the phone giving me turn by turn directions to the hotel. I arrived at 2AM, weary, angry and so exhausted. By this time I had been awake for 23 hours. He worked his magic to give me a great room for a great price. I did not care at this point if I had a roll-away bed in a corner. I was given a king suite, with a hot tub and a fireplace. Even if it was 3AM, I filled the hot tub and relaxed for ½ hour. I slept for a few hours then had to get back on the road. If it was not for Sam I do not know what I would have done. I spoke with the clerk in the morning and she said Sam had told her all about me and they both felt bad for the way I had been treated earlier in Denver.
I did start my day with a few items from the breakfast buffet. Eggs, toast, yogurt, juice and coffee helped me continue on. If I am ever in the area again, I will not hesitate in staying at this Quality Inn. Thank you SO much!!
