Great for families with young children on Sundays as they have a petting zoo, plus there is a large playground.BUT food leaves a lot to be desired especially at the prices charges.Schnitzel was overcooked, Nasi Goreng the same.Very disappointed

We came here for lunch on a beautiful Autumn day and sat out the back facing the golf course and farmlands - great view !!
We tried the Prawn Saganaki and the Duck Spring Rolls and both were very good, then we tried the Pear & Walnut salad and the Lynwood burger.
The servings on all meals were generous and we definitely over ordered, the presentation was good and the burger looked and tasted delicious, the salad was unbalanced; all greens and not enough apple or walnuts to go with it - some creamy goats cheese or blue cheese would have good.
A good "club" meal - give it a go it might surprise you

I love Lynwood Country Club and go there as often as I can. It comes with a magnificent view, and with cafe blinds and heaters you can eat outside and enjoy the view all year round. The menu is nothing special, well it isn't fine dining after all, but the food is very good and at reasonable prices. They have steak nights, schnitzel nights etc. as well as daily specials. They also make a great coffee, but the cake range could be expanded. You order and get called by a buzzer, so if you want table service this isn't the place for you. On weekends you can order a pizza from the pizza bar, and they taste pretty good. There is a great play area for the children and a petting zoo on weekends. It is a great meeting place for all the family. My mother loves it there, so too my grandchildren. Everyone we have introduced it to have become regulars.

Disappointing. Excellent location with plenty of parking. Upon entering we signed up as members, with the process taking a fair while. There is plenty of seating indoors to choose from.

The food was average, however the prices being reasonable with some specials on. Once our buzzer had started we went to collect our food, where we waited for ten minutes for someone to serve us. By the time we had gotten the meal, with no apologies for the wait, a fair amount of it was cold. The steak was nearly all charcoal on the outside and extremely tough. The chips were cold and the salad had rotten bits of lettuce in it.

I would not recommend eating here.

Firstly the course was in an average state - probably due to the user not repairing pitch marks and raking bunkers etc.
Secondly the girl in the Pro Shop was the rudest person I've ever had the misfortune to encounter whilst playing golf. She was all smiles when taking our money, but when it emerged she hadn't correctly informed us about buggy return times we we're "not paying attention" to her. Unfortunately for her we did pay attention and were told that we were getting twilight golf rates. We later found out that means the buggies have to be back at the pro shop for 6pm. We were not informed this was the case while we were paying for it, or we'd have taken pull carts or carried. One of the staff came out to tell we had to take the buggy back in when we were on the 15th - almost the furthest away from the pro shop we could have been. They didn't come out with two people to take the buggy back - which would have been the sensible thing to do.
It's a shame that an otherwise good experience was ruined by rude, poorly trained staff.
