Booked one night through priceline that chose a pet friendly hotel for us blindly. When we get to the hotel, we were told only dogs are allowed, and we had a cat, so we were not able to stay. Called Priceline to get a refund, and they told us repeatedly that the the hotel refused to do so. I understand the priceline booking was non-refundable, but despite this priceline was willing to give us a refund as the issue would have not been to prevent on our side. The hotel doesn't even mention their "dog only" pet policy on their website. Called hotel multiple times and they refuse to give us a refund. The hotel manager avoided talking about the main issue- that they are unwilling to give permission for a refund and then hung up on us. Very unprofessional, through other reviews, it can be seen that the pattern of manipulating policies to avoid giving refunds seems quite common.
