It said we May surprise you. And they did. This hotel is being upgraded. Don't let the outside fool you. These rooms are very updated. I ran out of devices to charge because the roomhas outlets and usb charging plugs everywhere. Fresh paint fresh floors fresh furniture and new beds. Very fast internet 115mbps down. Cold AC. Good breakfast. Ample parking. We had a great night.
Hotel undergoing very loud construction which started in adjacent rooms first thing in the morning (Saturday) with hammering, sawzalls, loud music and carrying on. There was no way to know this was going on prior to booking. Motel was largely empty so I suggested they consider the rooms where they're placing their customers. Motel staff was very rude and dismissive, even at check in. Clearly they couldn't care less. Television didn't work. Stain on the bedding. Breakfast is weak at best. Should have just slept in the car. Keep looking, you don't want to stay here!
They are under going renovations. There is NO POOL. Some of the websites showed pics of a pool.
The new rooms are extremely clean, the mattress was very comfortable. We had issues with the TV, and the gentleman at the front desk was up in less than 5 min to assist. There is a huge lot for RV parking.
We would stay here again.
When I booked by phone, I was charged a lot for three nights in this place which was supposed to be of equal value to the Ramada which I was unable to book due to an event that weekend. My husband was in the hospital and when I booked it, I was told I was booking at America's Best Value. I drove up and down Horizon drive looking for the place and didn't see it so I finally surmised it was the Baymont. I get inside the lobby and there are cards on the counter that say America's Best Value so I thought maybe they were a shared hotel or something so I asked the guy behind the counter if this was America's Best Value and he just says no. So I said there was cards on the counter and asked if it was the same place, once again all he says is "no." I was in town because my husband was air lifted to the hospital and I wasn't in the mood for a facetious jerk but finally I asked him if he had my reservation and they put me in a room that was clean, but of the same value as the Ramada? Hardly! I had to call the front desk twice because I was first having issues with the lock, then realized I didn't have a remote for the TV. Breakfast was awful, mainly cheap muffins, don't even think about drinking the orange juice. After my 3 nights there I was finally able to get back in at the Ramada and it was less expensive and so much better. I would not stay here again and will never recommend it to anyone else.
Our stay here was a last minute 1 nighter passing through on a road trip. Rooms were clean and well furnished for a roadside motel. The front desk staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us in the middle of the night as there were no rooms available at the dozens of other hotels in the area
