I really enjoyed my short stay here. All of the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and smelled nice. I didn’t find any random hairs in the bed or shower. The breakfast was nice and fresh. I’ve stayed at a lot of places on this trip and this was the most pleasant so far.
After rude foul language and name calling from a gentleman on the phone who identified himself as John Doe, we asked to speak with the manager when we arrived. Manager Mr. Patel was rude, using the f word upon his arrival when we had yet to say anything to him. He continued to talk over the top of anyone who tried to speak to him with his volume elevated to a almost screaming level. Admitted he heard his employee’s abusive language and had spoke with him. However, his own abusive behavior explains where the other employee had learned his customer service from. Mr Patel came out of the hotel after we left shaking his finger in the face of one of our party who was on the phone attempting to get a refund after Mr Patel refused to check us in. I have never had such poor service. If I could give a zero rating I would. America’s Worst Value Inn. I won’t be staying at this franchise as these employees are an example of the type of people hired by them and clear from the manager’s behavior that this is how their employees are trained. Should have read the other reviews before booking. Apparently, Mr. Patel has a history of rude behavior as does his staff. He even charged us a $500 deposit to our card even tho we never stayed in the rooms we had reserved. Unbelievable that this man is still employed.

We often stay at the Americas Best Value Inn when traveling. the chain is a very good value. The Inn in Grand Junction has never disappointed us the rooms are clean, reasonably quiet, the towels are fluffy and a good size, the free breakfast is not much. The coffee is ok and there is fresh fruit. The staff is ok and has changed or the last year a couple of times. Great parking lot and it is near restaurants and the Interstate. You could pay more and gert less in Grand Junction
I am impressed by this staff! Both front desk AND housekeeping. This is a HUGE property but well managed, and a great value for the price.
Wyndham seems to know how to pick up properties once owned by other chains and maybe past their prime, BUT Still highly functional. Then Wyndham puts their stamp on them, with their Great focus on guests, and makes you feel at home and valued.
Charles, the front desk guy is an important jewel to this property. He was the most efficient front desk person I have had. And he handled many demands and guests seemingly effortlessly. Wyndam...DO NOT LET THIS GUY BE UNDERVALUED! He is an asset.
Stayed for two days nice place, rooms there are well cleaned. 24/7 check in which was needed because i arrived at 4 AM. Couldn't find a room at the other chains had no reservation, but was happy to find the room i did. The shampoo was great (SPA) green has an olive oil-essence for extreme moisture. When i mentioned that i enjoyed it to the owners wife, she gave me some for the road free of charge. Awesome
