Understaffed with some issues, but safe and clean

I don't want to sound too harsh, overall, we had a clean and safe stay here, but there were certainly some system failures that could have improved upon the experience here.

There was one agent checking us in, so there was a bit of a wait. Check-in was friendly once we were helped. I was thanked for being a Platinum member with IHG, and given points as a welcome amenity but other than that, nothing special was offered for my loyalty.

We were assigned a room on the top floor. It was clean. Everything worked, except for the lamp on the desk. The shower was nice with good pressure and my dad remarked on how clean the bathroom was. The amenities in the bathroom were adequate.

The computers went down in the evening at the restaurant/bar area, which made service slow but the awesome bartender was doing his best to juggle the computer issue while still attending to customer needs. He was working again in the morning when we visited for breakfast and was still very friendly, but overwhelmed. We had to ask for silverware, condiments, and things like that. The food was cold by the time it arrived to us. The guest at the adjoining table to us yelled, rudely I might add, at the server that he hadn't been served yet. The server apologized for the service issues and comped our meals, which was a very nice gesture. There was also a sign that the hot tub was broken, and parts were on order.

Overall, none of these issues were alarming or would keep me from staying here in the future, but nonetheless should be noted with hope for improvement in the future.

Providing comfortable accommodation is all that we aim for, and I am thrilled that our clean and safe rooms helped you in getting such. I am also happy you were satisfied with the service received from our staff. I'm sorry, however, for the disappointment caused by the issues encountered at the restaurant, and the lamp's condition was a letdown. I also recognize your dismay with the lack of staff.

This hotel is awesome. Top to bottom.
Super clean, everywhere. The staff is fun and friendly and real and genuine.
Mitchell and Hanna at front desk set the standard for customer service. In this post Covid apocalyptic world of marginal service, this is how hospitality is supposed to be. I had a King suite. Super nice room. The elevators were spotless. ( That's a good judge of a property I believe... so many hotels fail on the cleanliness of elevators. They have a bar and restaurant which is excellent. Only 25$ for the dog. I will always stay here . Kudos to mgt.

We stayed at this Hotel to be rested before some stressful medical appointments the next day. The person who checked us in was great, and the room seemed clean,
BUT... we stayed in a handicapped room on the first floor. The door closer on the hotel back door was broken, so anytime someone went through the door it slammed shut and woke us up. We would just about get to sleep and the door would slam again, all night long. Both the front desk clerk and the maintenance person I complained to were less than interested in listening to my complaint.
The breakfast, which we had to pay extra for, was a joke, under cooked food,( they couldn't get my wife's bacon right after two tries. Not a tough request , just cooked) the "toast" was barely warmed bread. Other food items where inedible.
No USB outlets, so my phone went dead.
The TV was small, dated, and was difficult to figure out how to turn off and on with the attached cable box.
The bath floor tile was loose, with bugs crawling out of the cracks in the grout.
Instead of a restful night before our next day's doctor visits, we got almost no sleep, and not much to eat.
We usually stay at La Quinta's, but tried this Holiday Inn, and were sorely disappointed.

I'm sorry to hear about the noise disturbance coming from the back door, the lack of USB outlets in the room, the dated TV unit, and the cleanliness issues with the bathroom floor made your stay unpleasant. The location is good, right near the interstate and airport. Everything else was “fine”. Pretty standard stuff to be honest. They do charge an additional fee for breakfast, which seems a little outdated as nicer places include it at a similar price.

Room was ok except the floor could have used a good vacuuming, some finger or toe nails on the floor. The biggest problem was at check-in the first room was hot as a sauna, the staff was friendly and professional and moved us to another room, the second room was a little better, we were told they have been having air issues and this was the last room available, she also gave us a voucher for two free drinks from the bar. We decided to stay and tough it out after 12 hrs on the road, it wasn't a great night but got thru it.

We stayed here for a few days recently. The facility is nice, kept clean, and the staff was friendly. I held back one star on the rating because the AC in our room did not work and it was in the 90's outside. We reported it to the front desk the first morning of our stay and they said they sent a maintenance person up. Their solution was to close the drapes all the way. Still no AC. The unit would try to cycle on, klunk loudly and then go off. Made for cyclic sleep at best. The pool was OK, although the doors to the patio outside the pool locked behind you and there is no way to re-enter the pool area unless someone inside lets you in. Awkward. It was quiet and our bed was comfortable.
