Kelley is a wonderful, warm, and accommodating host who met us at the door! She is full of area knowledge and gave us some great tips for places to see. We stayed in the largest suite upstairs. The beds were very comfortable! The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We absolutely loved the outdoor deck and view into the pasture. We also loved the view of mountain from the door. We borrowed the vintage bikes and road in to town for breakfast and then toured the town of Carbondale...beautiful! I highly recommend the Dandelion Inn and would stay again!

Room Tip: Upstairs suite is great!

Loved this charming Inn just off Main Street in Carbondale. The owners have done a great job in making the Dandelion Inn cosy and welcoming. The furnishings are perfect and tasteful and not overdone like many bed and breakfast places I have been to. Kelley and her husband Jon are warm and welcoming with a mine of information on what do to in the area as well as cooking a wonderful breakfast to order on the weekends. I cannot wait to come back and spend more time here.

Room Tip: We had the suite which was very spacious with a balcony (which we did not use as it was snowing!), and an extra living room.

The Dandelion is an ideal base for poking around Carbondale and the Roaring Fork Valley. Kelley and Jon are super helpful and relaxed, and pointed me towards fabulous hikes, hot springs, and other local highlights. The room was great, super soft sheets, comfortable bed, reliable wifi, no problems at all. Time your stay over a weekend to enjoy the top-tier breakfast as well - the burrito rocks! I will definitely stay here again.

Although we stayed only one night, it was long enough to pick up on the perfectly wonderful vibe in this little gem of a place. The weekday do it yourself breakfast featured organic and healthy options. The location in the center of town is very convenient to every restaurant and charming shop in town. There is also the Rio Grande Trail, which you can walk or bike, using the loaner bikes available from your hosts, Kelley and Jon. If you are looking for that elusive “hygge”, you will find it here.

We arrived at the Dandelion after a blizzard and we were welcomed with a note, our keys and very cozy beds--we stayed at the upstairs suite.

Even without the owners there in the middle of night, we felt welcome and the place felt very homey and warm.

It is clean, nicely decorated and no two rooms are alike. In the morning, Kelley was there to greet us and made our lattes for us and chat with us. On our last night, we had an incredible view of the Blue / Paschal moon outside our balcony.

We also loved our weekend breakfasts made by John. That breakfast burrito can fuel someone for the whole day!

My cousin stayed on his own last September and Kelley had done such a good job looking after him as a solo traveler and first timer to Colorado. We have such great memories of this place.

Not to mention, it is right on the Rio Grande trail--great for walks and bike rides. Great place to stay in an amazing town. THANK YOU DANDELION!

Room Tip: The suite has a lovely balcony overlooking the Rio Grande, and the bunk bed room has a great view too.
