This is a nice quaint little hotel with the perfect location for skiing and shopping. Located, just off main street, everything is within walking distance. Parking in Breckenridge can be hard but they made it easy. Valet parking included in the room rate was truly a nice upgrade. The breakfast every morning was delicious and everyone was courteous and helpful.

Why not 5 circles? The rooms are a tad small and a bit dated (comfortable and well designed to minimize space though)
and for some strange reason the 2nd floor hall stunk. (I didn't go to the other floors of rooms to check). I don't mean a small odor, I mean a punch in the face when the elevator doors open. Didn't seem to be a problem once we were in our room or on the lower levels.

Room Tip: Higher floors might not stink

This is your most basic hotel. Definitely safer and nicer than a motel, but doesn't have the amenities and updates you'd find in higher end hotels.

Pros: Location is very close to Quicksilver Lift, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Cons: When we checked in we didn't get any information about the hotel or the area, and there was very little helpful information in the room. Some of the info in the welcome binder was outdated. Some of the info online and on signage in the hotel is outdated. There are signs in the elevator that indicate pool access, but I found out you have to take a shuttle to the Breckenridge Rec Center to use a pool. The Rec Center does sound awesome, they just need to update the website and the signs on their property. I ended up calling the front desk about a million times a day with questions about skiing, continental breakfast, and other amenity type questions.

Let me first say that most of our stay was positive up until we were leaving.

We arrived before check in time and were allowed to valet our vehicle so we could hit the slopes. We got a phone call when our room was ready and the check in process was fairly easy and everyone seemed nice.

The hotel itself is pretty dated but the location is fantastic. Our room was at the end of a hall. Every time somebody else in the hall opened their door, our door would move too and it would sound like someone was trying to come into our room. The bedroom size was decent and bathroom was small. The water pressure was awful and the temperature frequently changed while showering. Not ideal for the price you pay per night but again, location.

We were told our car was parked in a satellite lot and to call ahead of time so our car would be ready by the time we got downstairs with our baggage. We called at 9 am and were told it would be 10 minutes and went down. We stood outside for a while then I decided to double check to see if anyone was getting our car. One of the guys apologized because no one had left to get our car. We then waited inside and heard another guy complaining to front desk staff because he had also called from his room, waited a while, and his car still was not there. Just listening to the interaction between him and the front desk staff was awful. Staff had an unapologetic attitude toward him with every response. Even if it is legitimately out of their control, I found it unreasonable how staff talked to him. It was cringeworthy.
We got our vehicle 35 minutes after calling.

Location is great, staff is super friendly and eager to help. We had an issue with our reservation which was solved to our complete satisfaction. Breakfast is ok, could be better. Room was super since we got an upgrade.

Room Tip: standard two bed room is more basic, the premium king size bed rooms are great

I have the say the staff was super friendly, which we found throughout Breck and Denver, in general people are nice. The breakfast on Mondays is really disappointing. If we’d known were only going to get make-it-yourself waffles and old pastries then we would have gone out for an actual breakfast. You pay a lot for the rooms so it’s a bummer you don’t get more than what you’d get at a cheaper, chain hotel. We were not overly impressed with the room, nothing special. It had the typical issues of old hotels- squeaky doors, poor water pressure and light bulbs burned out. The biggest and probably only plus is the location, which is the only reason we chose- splurged on rather- this particular hotel. If location didn’t matter we definitely would have gone with a newer place.
