We were a party of 5, all adults and found this to be the only rental available for our dates in Yosemite and we choose it though they were quoting the price at the highest you can pay for this house.
The house is amidst Redwood tree forest and is behind a small road with very less traffic as the road is virtually a dead end. Behind the road are again homes spaced a distance apart. And there are homes which are on either side of 19B about 20-30 feet away so you will not be left feeling very lonely inside a forest.
You can also sometimes hear neighbours (if you stand outside) from the row of houses at the front but this is like 100 ft away and hidden by trees so your view from the house is basically wooded forest. And once inside the home, it is so calm you will hear your own ear drum's residual vibrations.
While being in Yosemite we did travel to many places and had a chance to look at various homes for vacation rental and this side of the Redwood homes simply comes across as the best you could get. The other places are either too crowded or the roads are used by cars constantly. So if you get a home anywhere near 19B is you should take it.
Inside the home is well equipped. You get a nice big flat tv with satellite channels, strong and fast wifi anywhere in the house, dishwasher, gas and oven, fridge, microwave, cutlery - plates, cups/saucers, forks, spoons, knifes, glasses, utensils for cooking and other stuff you will need in a kitchen. Except for the microwave which takes double the time you would expect everything else just works great.
Especially the shower! If you enjoy your showers, I would recommend you give some time daily for it in the top level bathroom. The water pressure there is phenomenal and the shower has different settings including one that massages and you will come out really refreshed especially after a strenuous day hiking.
The rooms are spacious and very cozy with good lighting, even a fan and heater. There are two rooms on the top level with one bath room and one room on the ground level with one bath. Two of the rooms have king beds and one has a double bed. All rooms have wardrobes and chests.
The only concern we had at the house was wild animals as my mom was petrified of something coming and we choose not to cook so as to not attract bears. But we did have to cook one night returning home late from our trip as restaurants were closed and we found some frozen food from the village store. And the next day we had tell tale signs of bear foot prints, a fox which we saw and deer around the house. Which freaked my mom out and we had to call in the rangers who did confirm the bear and deer foot prints but said not to worry, the bears have seldom broke into houses there though the window on our house has no grills and is pretty easy for the bear to break in. We did find the rangers come in late at night after we we were woken up by sounds in our backyard and flash their lights.
And we were all the while driving around Yosemite in the hopes of spotting a bear. We better had stayed home :) Btw if you have to dispose trash into bear safe bins outside you have to go about a 200ft and it was pretty creepy doing that in the night after we finished our food.
