Gorgeous lap pool, Beautiful gardens, beautiful mid century design, friendly staff, we can’t wait to see the gym, the spa in the restaurant open. This thing won’t let me complete my review unless this section has at least 200 characters

We are locals and HAD to stay here during a mandatory fire evacuation in the area because we needed to be close to our re-build (critical point in construction) and they were 'dog friendly' if you paid a fee.

We knew it wasn't going to be great (this hotel has not had a rep for being amazing for a long time) but were SHOCKED at how dirty the room was during COVID-19 and disappointed with how surly the staff was.

The desk in our room was covered with smudges, etc., but luckily I was traveling with wipes, so I could get that prepped for our daughter (distance learning).

Everything was dingy and needed re-decorating, updating, and a good scrubbing.

We had a 'patio suite' which was one room with a slider to a very small fenced patio area that had the feel of a penitentiary. I could see that the pool area was super crowded with guests and their children...again, COVID-19 much?

We also may have left a tote with belongings in our room after checkout (fire evacuations are stressful) and I've called several times to try to get housekeeping to respond to my inquiry but nope...no one has called back. So...I'm pretty sure my answer is that if I did leave something there, it's long gone.

It's SUCH a drag that this hotel is so poorly run since the location is nice (walking distance to Montgomery Village with shopping and dining).

We had stayed at two other hotels during this protracted (2-week) mandatory evacuation (E Hotel in Santa Rosa and The Lodge At Sonoma) and both were FAR SUPERIOR to this dump.

We will (hopefully) never have to stay here again!

Room tip: choose another hotel

We arrived as weary travelers late at night and Ray at the front desk was awesome. He listened to my room request but as I babbled on while he was checking us in, he reassigned us to a different room knowing it was what we wanted but didn't know to ask for! I didn't know they had spacious rooms with balconies. We over-looked the Olympic size pool, through mature trees which made it feel very private. I just love this property. They have been here for a very long time and are currently undergoing a $20M renovation. I can't wait to escape here again.

I needed a staycation with a pool to get away for my birthday and already want to leave and go home. Check in is disorganized and takes forever. Hand sanitizer is right there but it's empty. Property is under construction. Property is dirty - the stairs have food and dirty utensils smeared in the carpet and the staff is very rude. I was told over the phone the pool was completely open and it's not - there's lanes and it closes twice a day for kid pool classes. Do your self a favor and spend the money at a nicer property. Will never come back.

Room tip: There are two floors and no elevators - you can park in front or near your room.

We understand the absolute importance of maintaining a clean hotel and how an entire trip can be altered off of a first impression. We never want our guests to feel that the hotel has marginalized their safety by neglecting or overlooking cleaning details. We currently have protocols in place where our staff is diligently signing off on routine maintenance of all of our sanitizer dispensers and we have increased the number of dispensers at every entrance and exit breezeway throughout the hotel. We are very sorry for any oversight on behalf of the hotel that was anything less than what our guests deserve and what we pride ourselves on. We try to keep the hours of our pool availability posted on both our website and with the welcome media that we give to all of our incoming guests. Unfortunately the restrictions of Covid will not allow us to operate our pool to all of our guests without restrictions, such as the temporary use of lanes to separate households or occupants. That is a safety protocol, and only exists for the sole purpose of limiting exposure and keeping our guests safe. We want you to know that we appreciate your feedback and this response has been shared with both our guest service agents, as well as our housekeepers. Our goal everyday right now is to focus on cleanliness, especially in a time where it matters the most. We are sorry that you had to experience such difficulties during your most recent stay. If you would like to reach out to us, we would be very interested in speaking more with you about your stay, so that we may be better equipped to to keep situations like this from ever occurring on our property. Thank you again.

What a disappointment of Hotel. The smell of Marihuana was horrible. Customer service even worst. One of the employee's name is Vicky, and she even screams at us very very bad service and very disorganized. Super expense for the price. Our family never will go back to the place.
