The food was very bland and over-priced. I ordered two chicken tacos which came with yellow rice and black beans. The beans tasted like they came straight from a can. The rice was very dry and flavorless, and the soft tacos were awful. The grocery store variety corn tortillas for the tacos were soggy and quickly fell apart. The chicken had no seasoning at all. Better than Taco Bell, but definitely not worth the high prices. There are much better and more authentic Mexican restaurants up at Lake Tahoe.

I absolutely love this place! From their chips and dips to their drinks. Everything tastes so amazing that this is the place I always pick to go on my Birthday and on Cinco de Mayo. My favorite is their fresh Watermelon Margherita!

Old Town Placerville. Food was delicious! Friend said Fish Tacos as good as she remembered. Steak Caesar Salad one of the best: steak tender, well-seasoned; salad included tomatoes, cucumber, avocado. Friendly server. Generous glass of wine. Walk around town, and antique shops topped off the day.

Great service in a delightful setting on Main Street in 'Old Hangtown' (Placerville, CA). The offerings are a type of California-Mexican cuisine and of course an endless supply of very good chips and three types of salsas. The Chili Verde is great (as they did not cut out the spices!).

Good food reasonable prices and nice atmosphere. A nice twist to your usual Mexican restaurant, not your normal fare. Well worth the time to stop by and spend a nice evening.
