After so many failures it is nice to have such a quality place for either dine-in or take-out. Green curry rocks, but the stir-fried dishes are excellent as well.

Seems this place is also listed under another name. I know nothing about Thai food but I can say the food was very good here. The green curry and garlic shrimp were both quite good.

It's the Wandering Yank here. Mrs. Yank and I love Thai food, and we've been on an odyssey to find the perfect local Thai restaurant. Thai Unique wasn't perfect, was it was very pleasant and enjoyable.

Service was very welcoming. Decor is warm, woodsy and comfortable. It's a fairly good-sized place and looks as though it may have originally been a Denny's or similar restaurant, but the wood paneling and Thai artwork has changed it immensely and for the better.

The menu is extensive, like most Thai restaurants. I love noodle dishes, and the delightful Thai waitress recommended the Pad See Ow, which was excellent. My wife had the lemongrass chicken, which was pretty good, but the peanut sauce overwhelmed the lemongrass flavor. And the fresh spring rolls with shrimp were a good start.

Prices were very reasonable. While it wasn't the perfect Thai restaurant, we do plan to return.

2 thumbs up!

Had red curry with rice and other party had noodles. Both dishes were really good. Served with all the condiments you could desire. Great Thai food here and the service is all smiles and helpful. A good value to me about $20 plus tip for two at lunch with hot tea for beverage. Can't wait to come back with others for a family style dinner. The menu looks fun.

My wife and I eat frequently at Thai restaurants. The lunchtime menus and prices are all pretty much the same and you can usually get a good meal: if you substitute steamed vegetables for rice, a meal that’s low carb and reasonably healthy. As a first course they usually serve a cup of soup made with soup base, a few vegetables and a little tofu. Here, the soup was like that but with far too much soup base or added salt or msg or all three. It was salty, strong flavored and tasted terrible.

I ordered green curry with tofu & steamed vegetables, medium spicy. What I got looked fine but not spicy at all. No big complaint, you take your chances on that. The surprise was that they had deep fried the tofu and eggplant. There’s no reason for anything in green curry to be deep fried, something I try hard to avoid. Worse, the fry oil was old and rancid. It was an unhealthy nasty-tasting lunch, although the steamed vegetables were excellent.

My wife’s Pad Gai was greasy and bland with little strips of chicken that had been cooked to the consistency of sawdust.

Our server was busy and hard working but she was taking care of the whole restaurant without help and service was a little slow.
