Very friendly, helpful staff. Art everywhere, which was wonderful. Room was good. Exercise room was clean (a couple more exercise, bikes would be a good addition though), and had well maintained equipment. Grounds made for a pleasant walk. Loved the large sequoia cross section, showing the time and history that occurred through it's 2000 year life. Enjoyed my stay,

Room tip: Second floor rooms have a hallway, that will allow direct access to the stairway that leads to the beautiful courtyard.

Everything in this hotel from the building itself to the staff to the restaurant has been amazing. It’s the quietest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The property / building is like walking through a museum.
Lots a little happy places to sit and drink your online around fire pits and gardens. Two minute drive to downtown Exxon location.

We had the unfortunate experience of being there during one of the coldest weeks in recent history on a girls trip. However the hotel itself is quite inviting with several fireplaces to warm up. The grounds are well worth exploring and give you the opportunity of not having to sit in your room during those times you aren't wine tasting. The spa is also worth booking but be sure to notice that the prices are resort pricing so plan accordingly.

We had a room on the 2nd floor with 2 double beds overlooking the bocce court. Was perfect for the 2 of us for 3 nights.

On the downside:

The restaurant seemed to be in major flux. We'd get different answers depending on who we asked about things like seating, availability etc. The first night we asked if we could sit in the bar and order some appetizers. Yes. No. Yes, but.... This pretty much continued for the time we were there. So the first night we sat at a table in the bar area but eventually needed to order room service which was delivered to our table, complete in take out containers and a to-go paper bag. We had ordered a charcuterie platter because the photo in the elevator looked so yummy with the iberico-type ham. What we got however had lunch meat instead of quality charcuterie meat like in the photo. SUPERMARKET LUNCH MEAT! and it was in the ballpark of $26.

I decided to book this resort knowing nothing about it and spent my honeymoon here, what a great decision that was.

I am a meeting planner and at times by habit I book hotels for the points but this time, I broke that habit and now I am in love with Allegretto in Paso Robles.

Many of the staff were amazing but Tia supervisor of the front desk cares about the guests, wants to help and his knowledge of the area was impressive. Everyone is willing to help from bellmen, housekeeping, the grounds staff/pool because they are lead by Rick the GM. You can see he treats his staff well because they are happy which equals to a great guest experience.

This is now my go to hotel and already booking late spring.

So happy :-)

Room tip: Make sure you explore the grounds and see the art, do not miss this as it’s a pleasure to stay in such a place.

Our 2 night stay was relaxing and the resort was beautiful. Room service food orders were fast, accurate, and delicious. We had our dog with us and ordering room service was convenient for us.
The room was gorgeous, comfortable and very clean. The amenities were wonderful. The grounds were clean, and we enjoyed our walks around the property while admiring all the art pieces. Wine tasting was nice and relaxing on the patio and the charcuterie plate was perfect.
The front desk staff was very friendly. Housekeeping came quickly when we asked if we could have our room cleaned.
We had the best two nights and will definitely return. I had high hopes coming to Allegretto and they didn't disappoint. I hope to return one day soon.
