We have been members for a couple years now of the wine club. Sometimes we come for the pick up party which is really fun, with h'orderves and lots of tasting. They have a really cool tasting room that is special for the members, it is quiet and relaxing for tasting and you can bring a couple friends with you too. We like the wines especially the Cotes de Paso, which now they call CDP although I think Cotes de Paso is a better name, sorry. We are fans of red wine so I can't speak for the whites as I have not tried them. So many wineries in this town but this is definitely one of our favorites. Everyone there is very friendly too.

We were on a road trip and only in Paso Robles for 1 day and we picked Halter Ranch Vineyard to visit. We made the right choice! We were running a bit late and were probably the last to leave the ranch, but they didn't rush us through our tasting and let us tour the ranch while they packed up for the night. The wine was amazing (we took home 4 bottles and joined the wine club!). I would recommend to anyone visiting Paso Robles.

We stopped here late in the afternoon, a bit tired from the day (and 90 degree heat). But once inside, the wines were the star of the tasting. The size and breadth of the operation is quite impressive. We only regret that we hadn't signed up for one of their tours, check them out online in advance. Definitely a good winery to have on your tasting list.

We stopped here during our recent visit to Paso Robles. I asked in the tasting room if we could do our tasting outside because we had our dog with us (i.e., bad experience elsewhere). They invited us to bring the dog in and then they provided for the dog treats and water to keep her occupied. The place was very busy and has a huge picnic area along with tasting bars inside and out. The place is gorgeous and deserves a return trip if only for its friendliness.
