We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday. This house is in immaculate condition and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen seriously has everything you would need to cook whatever you wanted.
The system they use to enter the house is convenient.
The location is good, it's easy to get to Cannery Row, grocery stores, and restaurants. There is a sliver of a view of the bay from the back porch, dining area window, and one of the upstairs bedroom windows.
There are only a few slight negative things about this property. First are the stairs leading up to the bedrooms. They are not to code, they are wood without a carpet attached, a bit slick, and really do need a better handrail. They proved to be a bit treacherous for one of our family members. She is not handicapped but beset by bad knees; the stairs were a challenge. Secondly, both of the shower stalls are very tiny. Not a huge issue, just one of comfort and convenience. Third, the driveway is barely big enough to park a sedan, it is necessary to park in the garage, and the street only has parking on one side. We had 3 vehicles meeting up at the property from various parts of the state and we had to do some shuffling of vehicles at times. Because of these things I would hesitate to again pay the ~$300 per night we were charged. None of these issues put a damper on our stay at this lovely house, and a good time was had by all.
