Our stay at Southern California Beach Club could not have been more pleasant. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. Front desk staff member (Shana) and all other staff we encountered were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Our suite, and the entire facility, was very clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Out our door and down two flights of stairs to the beach. Amazing views and comfortable, modern condominium units. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and amazing restaurants are within walking distance. With the beach and the restaurants close to hand, we barely took the car out. Highly recommended, a place right on the beach that is affordable.

We had a wonderful time at the Southern California Beach Club. Oceanside is a really cool place to visit that is not too crowded yet (more hotels will be popping up soon though). The room was really cute, the bed was very comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a room right on the water, all of the studios are oceanfront which was awesome. The bathrooms are small but we really didn't mind. The only thing is if you are on a floor with people above you it might be a bit noisy if they are heavy walkers as the flooring between the rooms is thin and the noise travels. They also don't have daily housekeeping, we actually prefer it that way and keep the do not disturb sign on when we travel, but just a heads up for those who do like having their room cleaned daily. Overall we loved it and would definitely go back!

Southern Ca Beach Club has an awesome location. Right on the beach in Oceanside. We got to see the incredible waves and the surfers. Walking to multiple restaurants was a breeze.
The Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Made us feel at home.

I own at the SCBC and look forward to my weeks there every year. They keep the place in tip top shape, constantly improving and updating. Management is very friendly and aim to please. It would be an RCI Gold Crown property if it only had a pool, but it's on the ocean! They are putting in a brand new spa this year and are just completing a multi-year room remodel that is great. Oceanside is always opening new restaurants and breweries within walking distance. But the best part is you can't get any closer to the water unless you were in it.

checked in and got the $25 per day upgrade to a beachfront view unit. It was much smaller than the unit we would have had at the back of the complex but the location was sure worth it. And while not as large, it was very roomy for the two of us with a bedroom, living room and compact kitchen. It was in very good condition with lovely laminate floors, the bathroom was very nice and the kitchen was well stocked. It had a spacious balcony (we were in room 205 2nd floor) with a great view of the sun setting. And just outside our door was the stairs leading down to the hotel's secure gate, which opened up onto the one way lane that ran between our complex and the beach and ocean. The weather was cool last week but for warmer times beach chairs, bikes, pails and shovels were available for guests to use. The area offers numerous restaurants and the pier is a treat to venture out onto. Hello Betty is a good bar/restaurant just two blocks away that offers great views as well of the Pacific while enjoying your food and drink. If I am ever in Oceanside again, this is where we will be staying.
