DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

My wife and I flew cross country and decided to stay here for the night so that we would be close to the airport for our flight the next morning. We weren’t looking for anything fancy, we just wanted a clean and comfortable place to sleep and we definitely didn’t find that here.

When we got into our first room the bathroom was not clean the sink was disgusting and the bottoms of the pillows on the bed were black (see attached pictures). I called and asked to be moved to another room.

The hotel switched us to another room and it was a little cleaner, but still EXTREMELY disappointing. We would have checked out and went to another hotel, but we were exhausted from traveling, it was late and we had an early flight the next morning.

In the second room, there was a hole in the sheets, something gooey with hair stuck to the comforter (see attached photos) and men’s body wash still on the walls in the shower (which were wallpaper). The toilet paper roll holder was broken and falling off the wall, the pillows were so soft they were impossible to sleep on and the beds were hard as rocks.

We originally had reservations to stay at the same hotel on our way back from our vacation, but we canceled the reservation and stayed at the H Hotel right down the road, which was much nicer!

EXTREMELY disappointed with this Hilton Hotel, especially for the price!

Our room's carpet was stained. The toilet not cleaned well. The food selection in the lobby was worse than airport food and we ended walking over to Carl Jr's out of desperation. The shuttle in the morning to the airport only runs about every 20-30 min and there was a long line at 6:30am to get on. I am sure people missed their flights. Never saw such small and poorly lit bathrooms in a hotel as well. Had to call the hotel to ask them how to operate the shower; it was bizarre. Not going back.

stayed there twice this month for a one night stay each. as usually with domestic Hiltons, the lobby is flashy while the rooms are dated, even the so-called premium rooms on the exec floors.
However, had a great and frictionless experience. As a Diamond, I got automatically upgraded prior to check in and the new F&B credit which relaxes the free continental breakfast was automatically applied to my final receipt so I didn’t have to stop by the front desk after checking out.
Shuttle from/to the airport was quick.

pleasant surprise: amazing water pressure in the bath rooms. strongest flow I’ve ever seen in a US hotel.
surprise #2: extremely fast elevators. you choose your desired level outside on a keypad and are being assigned to one of the six high-speed elevators. super short wait times, lobby to top floor in no time.

Bottom line, they delivered exactly what I’m looking for on quick business trips: all benefits proactively honored, everything from check in to check out could be done through the app and no interaction with front desk/standing in line required.

Will be back next time!

Room tip: Cheaper parking next door at airport spectrum parking. $15/night vs. $48 at Hilton.

Had a couple of hiccups in the room with the toilet and tv remote (minor) but overall a good experience! I would say If you’re on a layover or staying for a few nights for the value, this hotel is a decent option.

Every membership promises reward for loyalty. In the case of Hilton reward, this is not so. I booked 2 rooms with hilton rewards and the rooms are old, outdated, almost motel standard. Extremely disapointed not returning to any hilton chain anytime soon. Hilton LAX need serious attention. For the price, you get much better wuality elsewhere.

The transport from the airport to the hotel was shabby and pathetic. The bus was overcrowded and even the hotel guest had to stand. “NO SOCIAL DISTANCING WAS MAINTAINED n WHILE SOMEOF THE GUEST DIDN’T USE THE FACE MASK”.

Well the hotel check in was smooth. The staff was friendly and hospitable but the problem was faced in the room.
The room was not properly cleaned. The toilet flush continuously makes leaking noise, the room had coweb, and the dust on the table and other equipments like coffee brewer, hot water kettle.
The fixtures in the room are also not up to standard. When I say that I mean that the standing lamp is tilting, the exhaust is dirty and dusty, the bath tub is stained and paint is out, the amenity holder in bathtub is rusted and out of color.
Tried calling 2 times at operator but no response. Then called once to guest request hotel line and someone responded after almost 8-10 rings. What is hotline then for if not responded immediately?

This was my first trip ever to Los Angeles and was very excited but What a disappointing experience I had.

Room tip: Rethink about booking as other options are available. The area has hotels like Marriott, Sheraton, etc. don’t go just with Brand Name.👎🏻👎🏻
