stayed there twice this month for a one night stay each. as usually with domestic Hiltons, the lobby is flashy while the rooms are dated, even the so-called premium rooms on the exec floors.
However, had a great and frictionless experience. As a Diamond, I got automatically upgraded prior to check in and the new F&B credit which relaxes the free continental breakfast was automatically applied to my final receipt so I didn’t have to stop by the front desk after checking out.
Shuttle from/to the airport was quick.
pleasant surprise: amazing water pressure in the bath rooms. strongest flow I’ve ever seen in a US hotel.
surprise #2: extremely fast elevators. you choose your desired level outside on a keypad and are being assigned to one of the six high-speed elevators. super short wait times, lobby to top floor in no time.
Bottom line, they delivered exactly what I’m looking for on quick business trips: all benefits proactively honored, everything from check in to check out could be done through the app and no interaction with front desk/standing in line required.
