We stayed at the Urban Oasis for four nights during a more extensive trip to California. This apartment was a little difficult to find at first, but was the perfect location for a peaceful night after the hustle and bustle of a day in LA. The apartment was part of a rambling, Mexican-style villa on several tropical acres with overgrown palm trees, lemon trees and even a performance stage. It felt more rural than urban. The owners lived in the main house and there were three apartments in all. The Urban Oasis apartment was facing the back.
The apartment itself was roomy and clean. The bedroom was in the loft and had double doors that opened out to a small balcony with table and chairs. The bathroom was small but adequate. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. We only saw them when checking in and checking out, and one time in between.
If you are looking for an apartment near the hot spots of LA, then the Urban Oasis may not be for you. But if you are willing to drive a bit and want a quiet, comfortable apartment that is reasonably priced and a little exotic, then I would recommend the Urban Oasis.
Apartment was beautiful! Frank and Albert were welcoming and wonderful! They included lots of personal touches for my girls and I. Communication was great. Plan on returning here the next time we are in the area. Love love love it!
The apartment was clean, well equipped and quiet. It was a very comfortable stay. The owners were very accommodating. We appreciated all the little extras to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you to the owners.
