I’ve stayed at this property two times. Once last year and again last week. During my first stay, the housekeeper walked in on us (even though the do not disturb sign was hung outside our door). Management did a good job addressing that issue.
During my last stay, I was misgendered. I was asked for my feedback when I logged into the WiFi and mentioned what had happened. Management reached out to me after finding out, but seemed to downplay the issue. I told them they can just call me by my first name if they want. The next day, they called me an entirely different name altogether!
Maybe, it would be helpful to avoid guests’ names (unless you’re 100% sure) and assuming their gender (unless it’s been communicated to you) to avoid offending anyone.
Besides that, the check-in and check-out experience is was good. The breakfast was good. Loved learning about the history of the hotel. The standard rooms are a bit small in my opinion so if you need a larger space, booking a suite may be recommended.
