For a weekend business trip, The L.A. Hotel Downtown provided outstanding service from my arrival to my departure from their helpful staff to a delicious meal at their restaurant. (I went for breakfast - Yum!) My room was exceptionally clean and this visit had an awesome view of downtown Los Angeles.

Top Tip: Make sure to ask the staff for recommendations for places to visit during the amount of time you are there. Definitely worth an ask! Don't forget to tip the cleaning service too on your departure.

Thank you for the 5 star review and for your comments about the cleanliness of the hotel, we appreciate this and I'm certain fellow travelers also will appreciate hearing about our efforts to keep the hotel clean always!

Once our restaurant is back up and running, we'd love to see you back for breakfast. In the meantime our Room Service department is still open 24 hours per day and you can rest assure the food is just as goo!

Stayed here twice whilst on vacation in LA. The hospitality from the reception team was superb the first time we stayed (Special thanks to Emmanuel for giving us such a friendly welcome when we checked in).
The location and cleanliness was spot on.
If you’re driving and want to park your car somewhere, there’s an option for Valet ($60) or a cheaper option which is to park in the car park opposite the hotel.
Would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed for 4 nights in March 2020 on the 12th floor in a room with city views The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We ordered room service a couple of times and it was always beautifully presented on a white table cloth. We also tried the buffet breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The flower arrangements in the restaurant really make the room grand. There is a nice gift shop in the large, marble foyer. Our stay at this hotel was truly pleasant. Thank you to the staff at LA Grand Hotel for making our stay so memorable. We will most certainly stay at L.A. Grand again. (Tourists from Australia)

We stayed for 4 nights, and loved being able to walk to Grand Central Market for breakfast. Although valet was $50 per night, the process was really quick and easy, and we could call valet from our room before we went down. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were always helpful. Would definitely recommend and go again.

I was at the mercy of the hotel to recover a notebook charger that I left in the room. They found it, but were not willing to make even the smallest effort to get it back to me (I offered to pay whatever it cost).

The manager of house services hanged up on me after refusing to do anything to help. When I called back to talk to another manager - Jacqueline Cory (I might be misspelling the last name) she was even less helpful and suggested that I send someone to LA to pick it up.

I have never run into such a total lack of caring, rudeness and uselessness from this level of a hotel.

I would recommend to book with ANY other hotel in LA.

Not only is it $50 per car but the attendants are super rude and confronting. Followed us around and wouldn't let us check in before demanding our cars. Wouldn't let us think or make a thought to park in the lot across the street or not.
