Owner description: Award-winning CA craft beer brewing company founded in 1991. When Lost Coast brewed its first beer, there weren’t a lot of craft breweries in existence, especially in California. Small batch brewing – or microbrewing – wasn’t exactly a promising line of work, as few could take on the giants in the beer world. What started as a crazy experiment soon grew into a fledgling brewery based out of a 100-year-old building in downtown Eureka. Funny things happen when you consistently crank out great beer. Lost Coast continued to expand, gaining fans around the globe and outgrowing a couple brewing facilities along the way. We’re now located just south of Eureka, brewing out of a custom-built brewery that’s designed to grow with the company.

Our tour guide was giving her very first tour, that being said, she did just fine. Nice place with good ice cream and rootbeer too!

Thank Robert H

New Brewery Location on Highway 101 South of Bayshore Mall Shopping Center not at Brew Pub and Restaurant Downtown. Take the 1/2 hour guided tour and get free beer tasting in tap room. Gift Shop with List Coast Swag and Root Beer and Ice Cream available for the kids.

My husband and I recently went with a neighbor to the brewery for a beer. This was the first time I had been there since it opened. We had a wonderful time. I love Lost Coast beers and was pleasantly surprised that they also have special beers on tap that are only available at the brewery. They also offer Beer Flights. You can choose 4 different beers served In good size sample glasses for only $5.00. They offer tours and have a great gift shop. Plus, while you are having a beer, the kids can get an ice cream cone. They have inside and outside seating.

A beautiful new facility, spotless and an educational experience with fun. Stainless steel abounds throughout the brewery. My favorite was the filling line, both bottles and cans.
The beers are the best! Great gift shop as well. Easy parking. A definite place to visit in Eureka.

This new facility hosts tours, has a picnic area, awesome local art and a great gift shop. The employees were fabulously helpful. Even though I don't imbibe there was plenty of things to make me happy.
