I went to dinner here with my brother for Thanksgiving, the first time I've been to this restaurant although I've passed it many times. The location is convenient and there's plenty of parking. I'd made a reservation and we were seated right away. Service was very good throughout our ordering and meal - everything was prompt but I never felt like we were being rushed. Our main reason for choosing this spot was their very reasonably-priced Thanksgiving turkey dinner, which I ordered. It was a three-course meal that started with a choice of soup, green salad, or caesar salad (I got the caesar). The main course included roasted turkey breast with gravy and cranberry sauce, buttermilk mashed potatoes, sausage & apple stuffing, and a choice of crispy brussels sprouts or broccolini (I got the brussels sprouts). Dessert was a slice of cheesecake with pumpkin crème anglaise. The restaurant also had their regular menu available, and it turned out that my brother was in the mood for seafood, so he ordered the shrimp scampi. Other than the turkey being a touch dry, everything was very good and the portions were generous - we split the cheesecake and it was still plenty. I had a glass of wine (a Pinot Grigio) which was ok but nothing notable, and their wine and beer selection didn't look great, but overall I was very happy with my meal, and my brother enjoyed his as well. I came in with the expectation that this wouldn't be much of a cut above Olive Garden but I came away pleasantly surprised - the food, service, ambiance, and price were all good. While this may not be a place I'm likely to visit often, I'd be quite happy to return for another Thanksgiving meal and wouldn't mind trying it for other occasions too.

I have been passing this chain restaurant in the mall since moving to El Cerrito three years ago and finally gave in to the nagging voice in my head saying “let’s try it out, maybe it’s good.” I won’t have to listen to that voice anymore as we finally broke down and went for dinner. It’s a good thing they have a bar cause the food is below Olive Garden so if you like bland, fried, and full of saturated fat items at an expensive price this is the place for you. If not buy a frozen Italian meal at Lucky at the other end of the mall and you’ll be in better shape than at this chain-link purveyor.

This review is much lower than I would like to give based on the very poor service.
We like to sit at the bar because the bartenders in the past have given us better service and friendly interaction. Not this time. I never saw this woman smile, she didn’t interact except when we placed our order. In fact she seemed to ignore us.
The food was good with generous portions. They frequently have specials which are a bargain. But they need better service!

Family meal, kids menu ok, and they enjoyed it. Adult menu lots of choices, Chicken parm really nice, lasagna good, Alfredo fettuccine I ate one bite, it was underwhelming. Lobster bisque, so-so, lobster ravioli good, the baby asparagus, best bite of the night. Calamari, was very good first time I actually liked it, and both dipping sauces were really good, That all said it was just average. Service was very good, but the coloring on the table, not so good, teaching kids to right on things is just the opposite, of what we teach at home, we looked up and my point was made for me someone has already colored all over the wall behind us, and I could just see the kids going but we could color at the restaurant. Atmosphere was ok with the exception it was quite loud, a bit to loud for me.

I've been going to this restaurant for a very long time and it's very nice. They have very yummy fried calamari, and I love their bread. It's nice for kids to be able to draw on the table, (with a paper sheet over it)
