We took the 45min ride over Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. Totally worth every penny!
Roy, the pilot was very knowledgeable about the area history, friendly and made conversation easy. Roy made us feel very safe and has had years of experience flying.
His wife was his assistant delivering us golf cart style right to the running helicopter.
Please don't miss out on this once exciting adventure and view from the top!
My husband booked us the Charlie package (35 Minutes) for our anniversary. So much fun!! I wish we had booked the longer flight. Captain Roy is a talker, very friendly. His wife was very helpful and friendly working the front desk and carting us out to our heli flight. These flights may seem pricey but compared to other places we have visited they are a great deal!! I would recommend this as something you HAVE to do if you visit Big Bear! If you go on a holiday weekend/weekend make reservations as they get a little busy.
We went to BigBear airport to enquire abt helicopter flights, met Roy & his wife. Within 10 mins after safety briefing we were up and away. It was fantastic-loved every minute. A must do if in Big Bear.
What better way to get an "overview" of an area one is visiting. Saw a waterfall that we would never get to otherwise. Great pilot-good local history. Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our ride around Big Bear thanks to the excellent tour and tips from Roy. This was our first time - To Roy's credit, we never felt any apprehension and the tour was a visual joy! We'll be back for another ride!
When my buddies and I checked into our vacation rental a couple of weeks ago we decided that the first thing that we would do is take a helicopter tour of the lake and mountains. The only thing that we couldn't decide way whether we wanted the 15 or 20 tour. It was the difference between $75 and $85. I pushed for the longer flight and everyone agreed that an extra ten dollars might be worth it. Boy, were we glad that we took the longer flight. Not only did we get to see the lake but also some of the highest peeks around the lake too. Out pilot was very professional and knowledgeable. He even knew which camp and lake was the location for filming of the original Parent Trap movie (with Haley Mills and Haley Mills).
