The best check in and out I have ever experienced. Nice bright spacious clean room. John made sure that the two rooms we got fit our needs. We needed to turn around a down day and this was the perfect cure. John and his wife made us feel like we were in our own house. Great music by the pool. We were there on Thursday and part of Friday so it was quiet. Breakfast was brilliant. We had lots of questions about the area and Ecuador in general and John was great to talk with. Very nice place to lounge around. It just had a special vibe. I'm no expert but I've got 300+ nights.

Room Tip: No bad rooms

The manager and his wife were fantastic. He speaks several languages well including French and English. He was available to assist in any questions of requirements and was even very helpful in getting us a taxi to Manta at a camionetta rate! The rooms are a refreshing change from the rest of our trip. They were modern with fantastic ocean views and great hot water showers with lots of water pressure. I highly recommend hotel for the room and for the wonderful staff. The owner of this hotel should be proud of this gem that stands out from the crowd.

Room Tip: The oceanview rooms are well worth it.

We stayed for a week as we were looking at a place to unwind and relax, and that's exactly what we found here. John is very relaxed about cooking meals, even when we were lazy and wanted to sleep in he didn't mind that we would have our breakfast at 10:30 or even 11:00 am some mornings. He cooked a few meals for us, his shrimp and pasta, and also his chicken with mushroom sauce was amazing!! The room had a fantastic view, comfortable bed, lots of hot water. We enjoyed walks on the beach, watching the goats, cows and donkeys wandering along the road and beach. There is lots of places to have lunch about 5 minute walk away. We had dinner at another hotel Kite Surf club, and met a few fellow Canadians there. The pool is lovely and clean at the hotel, and John also has a nice bar there if you want a beer or an ice cream sandwich to cool off. They do not have wifi, no one in the area does...but they do have internet which John lets you use as much as you need. We found John very helpful and if you needed anything, taxi to manta etc. Just ask him and it's no problem. Had a fantastic time here, and if we return to the Manta area, we would definitely come back to Casa Blanca. Thanks John and Janet and the staff!!

After a hectic 11 hour drive across Ecuador if was a reliefs to arrive to
This quiet oasis. Great pool with waterfall set in a brilliant and quiet location on the beach. A bit too quiet for too much of a stay for me. Not a lot going on in the area. Room was very clean and hosts were very nice. Said free wifi but didn't have wifi only a computer that worked sometimes. They say they have a restaurant but only one option for food and found dinner expensive for what we received ... One night with salad and one without. Pool area and bar were great but only two pool chairs ... In time this will probably all work out and have more variety. One day each week they allow the school kids to come use the pool all day.... We didn't get advance notice of this and if you stay you would be advised to go out that day as it is pretty hectic and seems to never end with different ages at different times ... All day.... Nice community act but there should be a warning to guests that this is going to occur. I doubt I would stay again bit it was a nice stay overall.
