Leah's cabin is very cute, comfortable and well-stocked and maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the deck and watching the deer and other wildlife meander by every morning and evening. Bass Lake is a gorgeous place to unwind and explore. Wine on the deck after a day in Yosemite was just what we were looking for. Leah is very organized, helpful, and professional and is always on top of everything. We loved her cabin and the location. We would definitely visit again when next we visit Yosemite.
The cabin is extremely homey, as in my group of friends and I felt extremely welcomed and comfortable in the Bass Lake Cabin. It is just secluded enough to be Private if you need it and not too far drive from Oakhurst (20-30mins) and Yosemite (1 - 1hr30m Depending on traffic and weather) where we spent most of our time exploring. Bass Lake is also quite nice and secluded area. The house had plenty of amenities and bedding which could easily accom. 4-6 people and we really enjoyed the use of Board Games, Big TV (w/Apple TV and HDMI), Great Kitchen for Cooking and Baking and Deck Outside for relaxing in the sun with a morning cup of coffee. There are plenty of books also spanning many various genres and subjects. I spent a few hours reading Walden by Thoreau which was fitting being in the trees a little bit. The best surprise was probably waking up each morning with turkeys and squirrels and beautiful birds running around the property. Leah was quick to respond to messages and it was an easy check in. I really recommend getting up to Oakhurst if you need supplies or if you would like a great meal the brewery (Southgate) there is fantastic.
Leah’s cabin has all the modern amenities as well as being cozy and comfy. My little family of 4 spent 4 nights there over our Spring Break, we did 3 state parks in 4 days. It was perfect. The little town of Oakhurst has a good grocery store so we loaded up and cooked most of our meals at the cabin, but we also had dinner at a local Mexican place on Leah’s recommendation that was pretty good,( and we are from Texas, so that is saying something).
We would totally book her place again. Good times!
My partner and I loved Leah's place. It was quiet and beautiful with great mountain views and just a few minutes drive from Bass Lake. Leah's house is a great balance of old world charm and modern conveniences, plus it has a very well equipped kitchen so we could cook up a feast. A great place to unwind. Thanks for having us.
