This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely little villa. It is set in a beautiful private well tended gardens with ancient olive trees for shade. If you like privacy then this is for you - completely shielded from the land with high automatic gates and a covered shaded area for parking. Joana and her husband tend to their smallholding next door and are there to help but never intrusive. The air conditioning in the bedroom (lovely big comfortable bed) is much better this year and has been updated so nice and cool for bedtime. Only reservation I have is the pool depth - it is quite deep at the shallow end - I think 3.5m which is much deeper than other pools we have used, so anyone with young children would need to keep a close watch on them. We are always sorry to leave!
This is a lovely villa. Great views of the Puig. Good outside facilities. Walking distance to old town Pollença. Gardens immaculate and well cared for. Villa spotless. Comfy bed.
We have stayed in many villas in this area over the years but really think that this is the best one. It is set in beautifully maintained very private gardens with high automatic gate and a covered car port so you never have to get into a hot car!
The owners. Carlos and Joana, are friendly and helpful but never intrusive, and have a small finca/orchard behind the villa and presented us with oranges and lemons straight from their trees. The villa is well equipped and spotlessly clean and we have never had such soft, fluffy scented towels anywhere before! There is a large utility room with washing machine, ironing board etc. Joana cleans the villa twice a week with towel changes and bed change once a week.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and twin beds in the other room. The shower room took a bit of finding as it is not in the villa but outside at the back of the summer house - once again spotlessly clean and very spacious.
There is lots of drawer space and wardrobes. Also we were surprised to find that there were UK channels available on the tv in the lounge. And don't worry if you forget to bring a book as there are books everywhere! And most are in English. Also, we were pleased to find things left in the kitchen, such as salt, pepper, spices, balsamic vinegar etc.
This is also the best bbq we have ever had - it was spotlessly clean (we normally have to buy a grill when we arrive as the bbq's are usually filthy!). And there is a double sink at the side so very user friendly.
I would advise caution if here with young children as the pool is very deep at the shallow end - well over 1m - and the steps are very steep. Also the AC in the bedroom is not very 'cold' and seems to be set for 24 degrees so could be a problem in high summer.
We loved our stay here - quality sun loungers and sitting under the shade of the olive tree in the afternoon was so relaxing, and really hope to return next year.
