Honest and real review is what shall follow.
Although it was not open for a few days as per their signs, when they did open we treated ourselves to some gourmet waffles for lunch while on honeymoon. Incredibly clean inside, though outside in the kiddies play area (Which is closed due to coviid) we saw a high chair with some old waffles bit and toppings on it. However, this did not deter us from enjoying some sugar packed and deliciously sweet waffles. My wife had a Nutella and Brownie half and half combo and I had a Honeycomb crunch. I could not finish my large portion served with amazing chocolate ice cream but I did smash it when I got back to my room for midnight snacks!
The service was a bit slow in terms of getting drinks and food but in fairness, there was only one chef and one server and I think they did really well in terms of managing everyone's expectations. I only wish there was a branch in JHB so my wife would stop reminiscing on the pleasure she experience when devouring, in one sitting I might add, her wonderful waffles!

who can resist waffles with a decadent topping and who can even walk by the aroma pulls you to the chair and you sit and stare and order and feast on ice cream and tasty and light waffles

Huge selection of waffles as well as interesting drinks. We had a good experience and service was super fast

It is hard to pick a waffle as there are so many great options on the menu! I ended up getting the Crunchy honeycomb and was not disappointed at all. It was so good, very tasty, and fresh! The staff were amazing, very friendly, and attentive. The setting is ideal on the harbor quay. Worth a visit!

Didn’t measure up to their fancy marketing, unfortunately. Service was hurried and unfriendly, but most disappointing was the poor waffle quality - so dense and dry, almost like something left over from last week. The condiments on top were reasonable, but you go to a waffle establishment for waffles ! The owners or management need to realise this.
