We had the briefest of stays here but would highly recommend this place. Staff were friendly, rooms were quiet, clean and spacious. We really would have liked to have spent a little more time relaxing there than we had. Next time! A+

We stayed 2 nights with a sea view room, sadly the room had more traffic noise than the last time was stayed. However, the bed was comfortable, the towels lovely and thick and the room spotless.
I did find, however, the hooks for clothes etc in the bathroom, too high for me ( nomal height!) to reach!

Great rooms, spacious clean and modern, very easy parking. Good check in staff. Really enjoyed our stay. Nice modern bathroom, lazy boy chairs in living area. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others

We stayed here just one night before catching the Interislander ferry to South Island. The room was comfortable with enough space and a good bathroom and shower. Parking is easy. It is also well placed for Jackson Street cafés and restaurants. The sea view was nice, but the traffic noise from the road below was annoying. Also, no lift to first floor rooms means you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

Our second stay and loved it as much as the 1st time.

We stayed the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Our unit was on the first floor and had great sea views. Cleanliness is definitely a highlight of BK and it’s not only about the unit, but the whole motel.
Although BK is by the road we were not disturbed at all by passing vehicles. Double glazing and the curtains would have been the reason. Hosts Katia and Shane are very friendly and makes you feel so welcome.

There are many things that we loved about the motel and some are listed below:-

-Easy parking / access
- Closeness to restaurants and Cafes
- Gym - haven’t seen a gym in other motels
- Views , beach and sea.
- run/walk along the esplanade
- Free DVDs
- Heat pump
- Very cumfy beds

Couple of suggestion:-

Maybe have smaller chairs

Provide a smaller bin for recyclable waste. BK can take a lead in being an eco friendly motel
