For a unique adventure consider kayaking in the Okavango Delta with Kayaktive. I joined a small group on a 5 day/110km tour in August 2015. They're a one of a kind operation that even many local people and companies in Maun haven't heard of. The paddling is a workout but all downstream on flat water. This is not for the faint of heart though. Hair raising experiences can and do occur and will surely create lasting memories. You'll surely be well looked after by the guide Jardus and Morotse the boatman. Seeing their teamwork on the water is sure to impress. Jardus also serves as an excellent cook. He even catered to my vegetarian diet quite well. While Morose doubles as a guide on morning/evening game walks. This is a special experience not often available in such a wild setting. The whole crew works exceptionally hard to see you thoroughly enjoy your time in this incredible location. I highly recommend a trip with Kayaktive to create a highlight of your travels. The value for experience ratio is off the charts. Any other tourists you pass whether in mokoros or motor boats will gaze at you with a mixture of awe and jealousy. It shouldn't take long for you to learn the meaning of TIBB either. Thanks again for everything! Hope to see you again soon.

Amazing. We took a day-long mokoro trip. The polers and guides were very friendly and informative. It was wonderful to be out in the middle of nowhere!

It was all we expected and more. Our kids didn't even complain a single time that the day on the boat was too long as there was always some thing to see.

The Okavango Delta in Botswana is one of last real Wilderness in Africa ! The Moremi or Savuti Parks in the Delta are the most beautiful Botswana has to offer ! A short fligh Safari from Maun's Airport should be on top of your list as it is just breathtaking and not that expensive anymore (under $90)
