The Sandpiper is really friendly, with a genuine welcome. The breakfasts are good and hearty, the rooms clean and pleasant, the beach nearby. But book early, as this guest house is deservedly popular. I've stayed in Barmouth for many years, and never found a better place.

Made our 2nd visit to the Sandpiper, June 8th - 11th. Thanks to Tara, we were able to have our room early. Our room was very clean and comfortable, bay window, sea facing.Enjoyable breakfast . Highly recommended and hope to visit again.

Room Tip: Ask for sea facing room with a fridge.

Booked this by phone the day before we went very last minute we were just waiting to see if the weather held
When we booked the owner said just check in when you arrive which was very accommodating of her
The door was open when we arrived the hallway was light and welcoming
And spotlessly clean
We were greeted quickly and given the key
There was lots of painting going on which was fine everywhere was clean
Unfortunately because we left it late to book we had to have a room at the back but it was ok
Lovely bedding on the bed
A little fridge and kettle
The beach is just over the road
Breakfast was great nice service
Will stay here again

We stayed here at the end of May for a couple of nights. It’s very central to Barmouth town and the beach. In fact the beach is just outside the front door! The promenade is lovely and leads straight to the town. The owner, Tara and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was yummy and set us up for the day. The room we were in was in the ground floor as it is a twin room and is suitable for less able people as it has a walk in shower. Tara has gradually been putting her stamp on the place but has only been there since end of last year and has more plans for it. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable - what more can you ask for? Will return.

This was the worst ever by far.freezing cold radiators were fixed to the lowest and to be fair.
filthy.we are not usually picky but for god sake the least you expect is some warmth.
The lady who greeted us was indifferent, she told us if we did' nt want breakfast we were doing her a favour...
The room was well below par.
Should be for the homeless
Save your money and stay at home shocking.
