We had a non electric pitch, in a small separate field, fairly level. It rained quite a bit, well it is Wales! The site was ok, the toilet/shower block and washing up room was at reception so a bit of a walk. I found the paths slippery, probably due to wearing crocs. The swimming pool was nice, payment required,£11 for one adult and two kids. We used it twice, would have gone in more if free! Some woods close enabled the kids to go off and explore. The site is set in a dip so far reaching views are not there. I am a keen gardener so personally I thought the Hydrangeas at reception were overgrown and the site could have been enhanced with some nice planting. The kids play area is starting to look a bit tatty. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the location for the lovely coastline especially Mwnt beach, don't climb the hill next to the beach if you suffer with vertigo, its flippin high at the top!

Just home from a weeks stay in Barley cottage. The whole holiday far exceeded my expectations! The cottage was lovely - very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need, and a very good size for a family of 5. The quiet location was peaceful and beautiful.
The pool was great - also very clean and a good temperature. The kids loved swimming in the pool.
The play room was just right and the kids had a couple of games on the pool table and table football.
The outside play area was brilliant and was where my 3 kids made some great friends who they are already missing! We would go out for the day visiting local attractions or beaches and come back to the cottage late afternoon/early evening and let the children play till nearly 9pm most nights - they all really enjoyed themselves and have made some fantastic summer memories.
The local countryside and beaches are stunning. Our favourite beach was Tresaith with its beautiful waterfall.
Nowhere was too busy or crowded with people and not too tacky or touristy either (which we much preferred).
Pembroke Castle was a great day out and a highlight of the holiday.
Graham and Anna are lovely to chat to - thank you for a brilliant holiday. We will definitely be returning.

We thought the site was amazing when we first arrived but as our three night stay progressed it ended very negatively. The owner was nothing but rude to us, placing us by a sewerage area and blamed our children for the covering having holes in it. We had to pay for the swimming pool - really??? Part of the site we thought. There was dog muck around our tent, of which he blamed on our friend's dog for....Overall, very disappointing and we won't venture back due to being rather offended by the rudeness. Upsetting to say the least.

we stayed for the second year in the granary cottage, immaculately clean and spacious cottage, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped with all that is needed plus a dishwasher, fridge freezer ,toaster, microwave and an excellent range of crockery and cutlery. The lounge boasts very comfortable furniture with extra touches of books and games to make this so homely. cottage guests have private access to washing machines and tumble driers and also the use of a lovely clean and warm swimming pool. delightful private garden with barbecue. Anna and Graham the owners are at hand to offer advise on local surroundings and best places to visit nothing is too much trouble for them. Truly a lovely family place to stay.
