“Fabulous, cosy cottage”
Reviewed 29 December 2013 for a stay in December 2013

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bea's Cottage. Were warmly welcomed by Sally and appreciated the little touches she had made to the cottage to give it a cosy, homely feel - also appreciated the little basket of goodies! Bea's cottage is an excellent base for hiking in the surrounding hills and exploring the area. We would definitely recommend it

“Excellent base”
Reviewed 6 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Bea's cottage has a perfect location for exploring this corner of Shropshire. The cottage is clean and quaint with all you need. I have high standards for cleanliness in a rental and we were very pleased.
The setting is pretty with easy access to walking and a drink or bite to eat in the evening all without moving the car. Sally is very welcoming and provided all needed for that first cuppa and biscuit on arrival plus a bottle of wine.
The only thing I would say is that the mattress and pillows are a bit lumpy when staying a week, but this is all down to individual taste. I would certainly recommend Bea's and the Church Stretton area in general.

“A charming immaculate cosy cottage”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

I had a lovely warm welcome from Sally and was introduced to her delightful well equipped cottage.
Church Stretton is delightful and has some excellent eating establishments, it is also an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside with its breathtaking views.
I can't wait to return, spend my days out and about then return to the cottage, light the wood burner, draw the curtains and a nice glass of wine, bliss.

Thank-you Sally x

“Immaculate, delightful and comfortable period cottage”
Reviewed 8 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We had a wonderful short break in Sally's lovely cottage. Lots to see in Church Stretton: good interesting shopping, delicious local food with handy takeaways and cafes. Would recommend Ludlow's market, castle and river walk. Leave the car, take the bus and enjoy the Shropshire scenery at your leisure. Everyone is so friendly and helpful here - particular Sally who made sure we had a very enjoyable stay.

“Charming little cottage”
Reviewed 3 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

A perfect little cottage on the main street through Church Stretton. Close to shops, pubs, restaurants and take-aways yet very quiet. Ideal base if you love walking. We were initially concerned that it might be hard to park but we always found a parking space around the corner when we returned from jaunts in the car. It is a small property, but beautifully furnished and well-equipped.
