“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 7 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We always holiday in Scotland either in June or July. We found Sunnyhill on Trip Advisor rather than one of the rental companies. We were not disappointed. It has what it says on the tin. Very comfortable and very clean and tidy. Amazing views and sunsets. If you like exploring, especially by foot, there are many very good places nearby. Also some good pubs, a good butchers, convenience store, and fuel station are nearby. Even Ullapool 55 miles away is a delight to drive to. Wester Ross is wonderful with lost of big mountains (to see or climb. The Letterewe Estate should not be missed.

if you want a beautifully maintained and comfortable house secluded but not isolated then look no further. Breath taking scenery, spectacular sunsets and lots to do nearby. This was the perfect place to unwind and recharge batteries. The only trouble is readjusting to "normal life" again!

“Beautiful, clean, comfy cottage with excellent views,”

Wildlife watchers paradise, fantastic location and a very comfortable cottage with stunning views. The cottage is well furnished, very clean and contains everything that you need with a very friendly owner.
The area is extremely beautiful, with plenty to do, we walked down to the Melvaig Inn which is very quirky but very relaxing with very friendly owners/staff, we did not eat in the pub as it was fully booked but the food looked lovely, will definitely eat there if we are up this way again. Went down to the lighthouse on several occasions to watch the otters and seals and never came away disappointed. Watched the birds in the garden from every window and each morning and evening a buzzard would sit on a post opposite the big picture window so we could take a look at it through the telescope. Will be back one day.

Recently stayed at the cottage for a relaxing break with my mom and it was exactly that. The cottage is spacious, clean and very peaceful. There is plenty of ground around the cottage, with just the sheep and occasionly the cows for neighbours. The pictures from the owners are what you get, there really is that wonderful view!
