I like prems - generally you know what you get! Harwich had the usual lovely staff, comfy bed and a large bedroom. However I found the room cold and despite putting up thermostat could not get it warm enough. Worse tho, no heating in the large bathroom - terribly cold. Noisy tv in next room, but it stopped in the evening. My main complaint was the noisy shouting in the corridor, after 11pm, followed by couple in room above loudly talking, but worse - he snored through the night. Surely the sound proofing should be better than this?
Overall very good, superb room and lovely staff. Need to invest in decent toasters that work properly and don't take forever. Need to reinstate the butter as none available for breakfast. Very good value for money.
Stayed here for the weekend nice clean room and hotel and excellent staff who go the Extra mile for as a disabled man the staff would see me coming run to open the door
For me always make sure me and my family were well looked after and the restaurant Attached to the hotel excellent food and staff well looked after there also nice.
We have stayed here several times when using the ferry to and from The Hook of Holland. The vicinity of The Premier Inn is excellent for catching the ferry. We love the new upgraded rooms with new carpets, furnishings and decor.
The ONLY problem we have is (and I have said this on countless occasions) being a retired couple who have 4 grown up children we object to subsidising the free breakfast that children up to the age of 16 when staying with their parents. A better model in our opinion is to offer a flat £5 breakfast with children up to the age of 8 years old eating free. If this was the policy we would happily have breakfast every time and it would cost Premier Inn nothing because they must throw away huge amounts of food every day.
