“Perfection!”
Reviewed 17 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Having visited with our young granddaughter in June, my husband and I came back for a restful week before the winter sets in. Everything in this lovely cottage and its tranquil surroundings perfect, especially for me in a wheelchair. We look forward to visiting again next Spring. Our congratulations to the owners for the way they keep the properties and grounds to such a high standard. We had an added bonus of the deer visiting the lake.

“WOW!”
Reviewed 1 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

we stayed in this oh so delightfully situated cottage with our young granddaughter over from USA for a visit. It is ideal for a wheelchair user and I particularly liked the dropped work surface in the kitchen! Everything was of a high quality. Lovely welcome by owner and scones, Devon cream strawberry jam and apple juice from their orchard, plus teas and coffee, hot chocolate etc, so thoughtful, super swimming pool including a hoist. Could not fault this wonderful lodge and location will be going again soon.

“Picturesque holiday”
Reviewed 11 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Swallow. The owners were very helpful, and the standards very high.
The weather didn't behave during our stay, but with the indoor pool, games room etc, it was a perfect retreat.
We highly recommend it, and already planning our next holiday.

“SUCH A WONDERFUL TRANQUIL RETREAT”
Reviewed 30 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

My husband and I stayed in SWALLOW LODGE - it was perfect for us Spotlessly clean and so comfortable. "Home from home" - we enjoyed our stay so much. All the lodges overlook the beautiful lake - lots of wildlife to see and all day sunshine - we were very fortunate. Karen, Ian and Robert were so kind to us and made our stay very memorable - cream tea waiting on our arrival and the lodge was warm and welcoming.
My husband is disabled - so all the facilities are available to him to enjoy his stay - including a lovely bar area, indoor swimming pool and outdoor seating areas.
We would recommend Blagdon Farm to those who would like peace and tranquillity. Shops are near and the Village Inn caters very well for an occasional meal out. There are lots of places to visit - all detailed by Karen. Dogs are welcome. And - there is fishing for those who enjoy this sport and I well remember one husband who spent many of his days quietly fishing - and his dear wife providing lunch so as not to disturb him!
So - you couldn't wish for better!
The daffodils were in abundance during our visit - the site is beautifully landscaped - so ENJOY!
We extend our thanks to Karen, Ian and Robert for making our stay such a happy one.

“February Half Term”
Reviewed 21 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

I booked in Oct 2014 for Feb half term for myself, my sister & our 4 children. We arrived at this beautiful, picturesque farm and were shown by the lovely Karen to our lodge (Swallow) The lodge itself was beautiful & very clean & some lovely treats had been provided lovely grounds, bar open a few times in the week which was great & sold local ales. Games room was where we spent a lot of time & the kids loved it! The pool was closed but looked nice. Great if you've got dogs and the surrounding villages are also worth a look. Booking again for next year
