The trail from Wadebridge to Padstow during holiday times is always very busy. However the views over the Camel Estuary are great. The preference is Wadebridge to Bodmin which is quieter and a pleasant ride or walk through the woods.

this is a great flat 6 mile cycle ride, very easy and popular for a family trip from Wadebrige to Padstow or vice versa...

A lovely flat cycle path which follows the Camel estuary from Padstow to Wadebridge and then on to Bodmin. Beautiful views as you cycle along. Enjoyed by all including families with young children that can sit in their own little covered trailers attached to mum or dad. Very busy in the summer.

On a dry day the route from Padstow to Wadebridge is a gentle and scenic cycle route. I’ve done this several times now, both alone and with family members and thoroughly enjoyed the experience every time. It was half term on this occasion and my daughter and I loved it. So nice to see so many families out enjoying themselves. Everyone was respectful of the very young children and elderly slower-paced walkers and cyclists which was nice to see.

Great walking route, great views from both side of trackbed, geese ducks and waders on riverbank, really good hide as you leave Wadebridge, shame it's been spoilt by rubbish dumped in and around hide. Wadebridge to Bodmin seemed to be worse section for cyclist's not thanking you for getting off path when they ride two abreast, not even smile or even raise an eye. Maybe a bell should be compolsury to warn walkers as they creep up behind. Come on cyclist, lighten up a bit...smile, nod your head, say something!!!!
