Great easy going ride from Wadebridge around to Rick's for fish and chips, what have you done with all the seagulls, didn't get harassed by any this time.
Padstow had certainly gotten busier each year with tourists but the trail is a nice way to get there and back in a nice tranquil setting.

We hired bikes in Wadebridge and cycled to Bodmin and then turned round and cycled back to Padstow where we stopped for a coffee and cake, then returned the bikes to Wadebridge. The day we did this was a quiet day with only a few other cyclists and walkers. At holiday times it can be quite busy and if you are not a seasoned cyclist, dealing with other users of the trail can be a bit scary, if they don't move over (or there is no bell on the bike). On the whole the surface is good for cycling, with only a few rough patches and mostly flat

So glad we finally got round to cycling the camel trail it was beautiful. Lots to see on route and easy riding especially for those who aren't regular cyclists- a must when in Cornwall.

For the walkers, not too challenging, but a lovely summer stroll to Padstow from Wadebridge.
Downside, no loos on the route, a bit inconvenient for the ladies! Cyclists can be a nuisance, expecting pedestrians to move over! Tough! Walkers have priority! 5.5 miles of level going, and the charms of Padstow at the end.
