Out cycling, been to the shop opposite for some bike supplies, so a random stop. Been here before and I like the proprietor, always chatty, albeit a gooner! Good bit of banter with other customers made for a jolly stop - and the coffee and cake were excellent and reasonably priced!

We visited wells and had read reviews on this place prior so if we came across it we were ready to try it... on a very rainy weekend we were very happy to enjoy a panini, toasty, tea, hot chocolate and an orange juice. The food was great, nothing to complain about whatsoever, good value for money and quick service. The place itself is very small with around 5 tables but that just added to the character of the place. The owners (I presume) taking orders and in the kitchen were spot on, the chap was very pleasant and enthusiastic, would definitely go back if we are in the area again.
The hot chocolate is worth a try, heard them talking about good feedback so decided to get one on our way out.... definitely worth it, no sickly taste, just a hot chocolate that went down very easily.
Thanks Raggedy Cat!

Found this lovely little tea room during a quick visit to the town. The owners are very welcoming and the decor is very clean and cheerful. Everything is freshly made and the sandwiches are huge. The scones are possibly the best I've ever have. Slightly warm, soft......lovely. Serve was quick, food was well presented and tasty. Very reasonable prices too. This little tearoom is well worth a visit.

A wet Tuesday in Wells but a warm friendly welcome for us and Bertie the dog.
Oh what a difference to be welcome with a dog, though in fairness quite a few places do in Norfolk, that is why we come.
But back to the Raggedy Cat, dh said his toastie was the best ever and my panini was busting with filling. Joy of joy tea cosies! So the tea stayed hot, just wish I had room for cake.

We loved this little cafe! The owner was super polite and chatty and the cakes were fantastic. All homemade that morning and moist and very yummy. I had the chocolate explosion sponge and it was so good I would drive from London just to eat it again :)
