This is a charming café that usually only serves breakfast and lunch but they have dinner on Fri. with live entertainment. They have a variety of good choices. The atmosphere is "different". There's a used bookstore and some arts & crafts items available for sale.

Sandwiches and soups delicious; salads and music are equally satisfying. I liked the menu and would go here more often if I still drove by daily. It would be my lunch stop if I worked in the area - walking from the few blocks of employers nearby is very nice even if summer heat is an issue. The local music they often have is enjoyable, too. Oh, don't forget to leave room for their yummy desserts. And peruse the bookshelves upstairs and down - coffeehouse feel provided free of charge.

Here for a Saturday Breakfast. Was pleased with my granola French toast and yummy sausages. Well worth a visit. Off the Main Street but worth finding. Nice atmosphere with lots of books and art work. Will return to try other items on menu.

This little bistro is located on the left side of the Benevilla campus. I recently heard a presentation on the non-profit Benevilla and wanted to check out Birt's Bistro. I liked the open, airy atmosphere and also the second floor balcony. There are bookselves everywhere...only $1 for hardcovers. The small but crammed gift area was very nice with lots to view...jewelry especially.

I had the lunch special of parmesan crusted tilapia with spaghetti and marinara sauce. It was excellent! And for $7.99 it was a bargain.

I think I have found my "coffee hang out" to have a latte and knit or read. The outside patio is picturesque and I want to come for weekday lunch music and weekend concerts.

This non-profit bistro is a hidden secret!
Their white meat chicken salad was beyond compare, and their paid and volunteer waitresses friendly and accommodating.
Five stars, out of FIVE!
