“Didn't want to leave!”

A beautiful cottage which is very nicely decorated and furnished and includes everything you could need for a great holiday. Tracey, Adrian and Jack couldn't be more friendly or helpful. This was possibly the most relaxing holiday we have had in years. Lots of places to walk, the town of Bude is only a few minutes drive and the beaches at Widemouth Bay are close by. This is such a nice place that we really didn't want to leave at the end of the week.

“Cosy Cottage”

We've returned from our weeks stay in Laity cottage with our Sheltie dog. The cottage is decorated well (as this has a big part to play in our stay away- im not a fan of dated interior and I believe when you’re on your jollies, it should be as nice, or nicer than your own home - just my opinion!  ) plus lovely touches throughout. The facilities are very good enabling a comfortable stay i.e. equipped kitchen with all the basics you will need, including sharp knives(which are usually blunt in a holiday apartment) tea towels, sponge, washing up liquid and soap. Washer/dryer/Hoover/coffee machine in a close out building. There’s a hose pipe near to wash off your dog/boots etc after a muddy walk. The external of our apartment was well fenced off to ensure our dog wouldn’t escape, private patio area with table and chair was nice touch as we had great weather! Plenty of storage for clothes, shoes etc. Lovely wood burner made for a cosy evening with a book and wine (thanks for the complementary bottle!). A big thank you to Adrian, Tracy and Jack, all who maintain the interiors/exteriors of these cottages which made it true pleasure to stay.

“Outstanding, welcoming, well equipped, homely and spotlessly clean”

In one word...FANTASTIC! From the fabulous warm welcome extended to my wife, myself and our labrador puppy Archie from Tracy, Adrian and their lovely son Jack; to the stunning cottage - decorated so beautifully - Laity Cottage had everything you could possibly want and more - even down to a dog basket, blanket and treats! They have simply thought of everything!! The cottage is nestled in beautiful countryside and is conveniently situated for all places of interest on the North/West Cornish coastline. A fantastic holiday was had by all and we will be returning.

“The best,”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Modern cosy cottage with all mod cons in a quiet location. The owners Adrian and Tracey live nearby and are always on hand to provide fresh eggs from their chickens and their young son jack is happy to show off his sheep in the nearby field. The cottage was spotlessly clean and decorated with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine for when we arrived.
