The location is a bit away from downtown Sedona, Poco Diablo is quite spacious. The golf course is not a full one but i guess nice for a few swings.
The restaurant/bar was never busy while we were there and the service was a times a bit slow.

Our room was pretty dark and some of the lights didn't work, including reading lights above the bed (both were out). It seems that they don't check the rooms 100% thoroughly before you check in. It wasn't a big deal as you are not in Sedona to stay in the room, but it leaves a slightly bad aftertaste. Other than that the people running the place are nice, if at times a bit disorganized.

Visited the middle of August 2016 and had an amazing room facing the golf course. The room was very nice, with a sitting area, table and king bed. Very quiet and we were able to have access to the pool and hot tub at the adjacent villa which was not crowded and had perfect temperatures. The gentleman running the villa was kind and accommodating even though we were staying at the resort.

Highly recommend this resort and location.

Room Tip: A view of the golf course is stunning.

My family and I stayed at the Poco on Aug 13 -20, 2016. I was there on business and they joined me. What a wonderful experience!! As with other travel, there were some minor "glitches"; but as soon as I mentioned it, the issue was cheerfully fixed. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make your experience good. The restaurant staff is fantastic......and a special mention of Mario, who has a smile that goes on forever!!!!! I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. I will be back, and will recommend the resort to my friends!

As an Airline Employee for over 35 years I have stayed at hundreds of Resort/Hotels around the world every year...Poco Diablo Resort is hands-down one of the finest experiences I have ever had! This stay happened to be for pleasure and we decided to include our two dogs on this vacation since the resort is very dog friendly. The hotel and restaurant staff were so friendly, professional and hospitable with an emphasis on creating an extraordinary vacation experience! The views are SPECTACULAR and the entire property is extremely well maintained. The public areas & rooms are spotless. Guest rooms are very well appointed, even our pet-friendly room was much nicer than most high-end luxury hotels. Many rooms boast fireplaces and are very well appointed. Our room had a large spa-tub which was such a surprise and pleasure after a long day of exploring the beautiful area of Sedona. The beds are more than comfortable with very nice linens. Baths boast hard surface counters with tile surround tub/showers.
The front-desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff were absolutely fantastic! The entire staff went out of their way to create a remarkable vacation experience!
The restaurant (T.Carl's) was a highlight with excellent service & delicious gourmet food/cuisine. The pet-friendly dining & doggie menu was a delight! We never ventured out of the resort for other dining. I would rate this property a 5-STAR in everyway!!! We enjoyed our stay & vacation more than any other we have experienced! The setting & views are breathtaking, the resort encompasses relaxation & a feeling of well being! Thank you Poco Diablo Resort for the BEST Vacation Experience EVER!!!

Room Tip: Spectacular views, all are extremely well appointed and very clean. Some rooms feature, fireplaces, hot-tubs, balconies/patios.

We've visited Sedona several times but this was the first time we stayed at the Poco Diablo Resort. We will definitely stay there again. The location is great just a couple of miles from the "Y" intersection in the center of Sedona and about 5 minutes north of the Red Rock hiking and viewing area. Our room was a Poco King (we highly recommend that choice.) It was clean and very comfortable.
On site there's the pool and whirlpool, a small but complete exercise room, a spa, and great mountain views. We had dinner at the on site restaurant, Carl T's, and our meal was well prepared and presented.
The staff was very helpful and professional. They gave us suggestions for activities. Our housekeeper never came early, but always had our room ready when we returned from a morning activity. All in all Poco Diablo exceeded expectations in service. All this at a great price for the area.

Room Tip: We stayed in a Poco King Room. It is larger has a fireplace and great views. Suggest rooms numbered in the 600 to 625.

Thank you for your visit and sharing your comments. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to many more. Our property is about 2 miles from uptown, but we think these ads to the charm of the property. Not being right in town but close enough to access quickly.

We look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for your business and we hope to see you soon.
