Lots of fun to just walk around. Many stores have the same touristy items but the atmosphere is cool. Plenty of places to eat and drink and enjoy the area.

Absolutely loved old town Scottsdale, make sure to visit the renovated Mission, it is wonderful! Very friendly volunteers that will direct you to local restaurant favorites!

Old Scottsdale is a great place to walk a few blocks and experience everything from tacky souvenirs to really great restaurants.
Try Bandara and snare a place at the bar to enjoy the top gourmet burger and bartenders in AZ.
Citizens Public House for their dynamite Manhattan and excellent dinner options.
Have fun!!

It closes up pretty early on Sunday evening with most shops closed by 7. But, love the old western charm, interesting buildings full of some amazing art, jewelry, western boots, lots of bars, etc. There are a lot of great food options as well with mouth watering smells waffling outside as we strolled by. We finally chose one and were impressed.

My husband and I enjoyed going to Old Town. We got a map from the information booth in the mall(and from a very informative volunteer who helped us plan our whole week-make sure to drop by there before you head out) and even a guide book so we could take advantage of a self-guided tour. Our highlights included The Rusty Spur Saloon with an awesome singer in the style of Willie Nelson, The SugarBowl for delicious ice cream and overall feeling of being in the Old West.
