We were looking for “above the average” place to stay while in Prescott to celebrate our Dad’s 93rd birthday. From the check in til the time we left it was special! Breakfast was tasty and wonderful
The Lobby was warm and inviting! And they are very dog friendly!

Let me mention first, how wonderful the staff was! There were a few problems, however, with other aspects of the Hotel. I booked a handicapped room 3 weeks in advance, stating that I needed a room WITH handicapped access as I could not lift my feet to get into a bathtub. OK. So when we arrived the room assigned to us had a bathtub with grab rails assigned to us. This was quite a surprise, especially after walking the entire length of the hotel. So, back we went to the main desk and she assigned us a different room. This was at the VERY end of the hotel and on the 2nd floor. More walking - much more. The clerk/manager was nice enough o comp us the room. VERY nice. However, I was exhausted by the time we walked all over the hotel and I immediately collapsed on the bed. 2nd issue. The TV had an elongated screen that was not HD. Having built and owned a TV station in the past (KPSN) I proceeded with the setup. No luck after 20 minutes! I guess they really do NOT have HD in this room! Then my wife started smelling gas! Wow. Bottom line is we left and drove home. Long, tiring drive.

Kudos to the staff for their efforts. No kudos for the owners for failing to provide proper ADA rooms for such a new and recently remodeled hotel. I hope they fix this and their TV programming soon.

Hello Steve - our team appreciates your great comments about the staff. Thank you. We have four accessible rooms, and as the hotel was built several years ago, and due to bathroom size requirements and such, we are locked into the locations of some of these rooms. We are sorry we didn't ask more questions as is our typical level of customer service. We have many different rooms types that offer different amenities and we try to choose the rooms that best suit our guests' needs. We apologize for your frustration. All of our TVs are HD, but the majority of the stations on the lower channels are not HD. These stations are repeated on higher channels and these are HD. There is a carrier directory in each room that shows this. It is just the way the carrier handles it. We will make sure to check the TV pages in our guest directory in the rooms and make sure they are updated to better explain this. We checked the TV in your room and as it turns out, a previous guest must have changed the television setting. We were able to change the view setting and restore it back to full screen. We have used this as an opportunity to have a staff member go to all of our guest rooms this week and check that the view settings are as they should be. Thank you.

My stay at the Forest Villas was fantastic. Loved that it was dog friendly, and when we checked in they gave us a little doggie treat bag. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in. Our room was clean and spacious. Loved the balcony looking out towards the mountains. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (eggs, waffles, fruit, juices, etc.) And a big bonus! Would recommend this place to friends and family and will definately look at booking again in the future.

My stay was so relaxing and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect whether I was hungry for a little or a lot. I think their pool area is the best around - private, clean and relaxing. It is obvious that the GM (Jane) and her staff care about the hotel and the guests. I will be back and have already recommended The Forest Villas Hotel to other travelers.

Room tip: If you like to watch the sunrise stay on the second floor facing east.
