The real deal. Thin crust pizza cut in squares. Good sauce and gooey cheese with real sausage. We had the breaded mushrooms for an appetizer which were decent. Come for the pizza. Or get it to go, worth the effort in finding a parking space.

What fun to discover that Rosati's is open in Prescott. Growing up in Chicago, I used to go to the Take Out in Arlington Heights IL....back in the 70s. While visiting Prescott, we HAD to stop & have an Italian Beef sandwich. Go Cubs!

We decided to try Rosatis before going to a performance at Yavapi Center for Performing Arts with our two moms, both in their 90s. Although they both declare to have small appetites, they scarfed down three pieces of pizza each as well as salad. The pizza is very tasty and I like that it's cut in squares so those who like crust can have those pieces and the other guests can enjoy the inside pieces. We chose a three item pie with pepperoni, basil and mushrooms. The server pointed out that ordering the three items was a more ecomical choice that what we started to order. That was quite nice of her in this day of upselling.
We inquired about beer and wine and discovered that although those beverages are not available, we could bring in our own if we wanted with no corkage fee. Another big plus, even though we hope they get a beer and wine license.
All the toppings on the pizza were fresh and not too much or too sparse. We ordered the regular, not the Chicago style because of time restrictions. A note on the menu announced that Chicago style would require at least a 40 minute wait. Too bad for us, but nice to know next time. I don't mind waiting if I have the time because then at least I know that what I'm getting is fresh and not something that has been heated up.
The salads we ordered were also very crispy and fresh. Service was spot on. My only disappointment was that our booth was in the rear of a narrow booth alley and we could hear the conversation of the party at the first table in the row. So while the food is really good, the achoustics and design make sound travel and it seemed amplified.

Rosatis recently opened so the six year old and 19 year old accompanied me on a Friday afternoon. We were greeted by enthusiastic staff and quickly seated...it was around 3:45 pm so a down time. There were several other customers who also seemed to be greeted and promptly seated. We ordered bread sticks and a 14 inch pizza. This more than enough food for us. We liked the bread sticks which varied in size and shape and were buttered and sprinkled with a bit of parmesian cheese and served with marinara sauce. We got the regular pizza not deep dish. Lots of good cheese, not that mushy stuff so many places use. They were able to make the pizza as ordered with different ingrediants on each side so everyone was happy. We will return.

Rosati's has only been open about 1 week. Not a big place but very comfortable, wonderful staff. Kevin the owner/manager is on sight and very personable, young and enthusiastic. Kyle our waitress was super, very personable and helpful, Kevin, give her a raise!
We ordered the standard thin crust hamburger and sausage. It was the best we have had in Prescott, a crispy crust, not overdone with tomato, good cheese..Ceasar salad was also excellent, the small was enough for both of us.
They specialize in deep dish Chicago style,,takes a little longer and next time we will try it.. They hope to really give good take out and delivery service...Parking is easy so eating in is no problem...we will be back.
