“Beautiful, Convenient, A True Home Away From Home”
Reviewed 25 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

I can't begin to describe how AWESOME this place is! Fran was so helpful in answering questions prior to booking and she and Kent were very welcoming when we arrived. They truly care about their properties and their guests.
This is a house and is is just as advertised. It is decorated in a western theme throughout. The bedrooms are very large with a variety of furnishings. The showers are huge and there was soap and shampoos provided. All linens and towels were also provided. The beds had plenty of pillows and were very VERY comfortable. The kitchen and living room created a huge area complete with a bar and stools. There were 2 couches, several chairs, and a large dining table with chairs. The kitchen was well stocked so you could easily make meals there...all you need to bring is the food.
There is this lovely outdoor area that wraps around the majority of the home. Several tables and lots of chairs to take in the views from different sides of the home. And then there is the hot tub. Wonderfully relaxing and was able to look at the flora and fauna on the mountain, the mountains, and even hot air balloons floating in the morning.
A guest commented in the past about the houses below. Yes, if you look down there are houses, however, if you look OUT you see the mountains all around. It was a beautiful view!
This home is also in a convenient location. It is near the 101 and access on and off is so easy. The 101 can connect you to I-17 and I-10. We drove to Tucson and Sedona and they were both about 2 1/2 hours in moderate traffic. Cave Creek, Scottsdale, and the airport are fairly close and easy to get to. There is also a smaller airport nearby in Deer Creek.
The home is quiet and there is a lot of privacy. I would recommend renting the Parlor home for larger groups as there is a pathway to walk to it from this home.
For you nature lovers we saw quail, hummingbirds, a small lizard, and other birds on or near the property.
Also, it's nice to walk in the evening down where the houses and a mature living community are. We were able to talk with a few people who lived there. Very friendly!
For the shoppers there was a mall off of I-17 south (Metroplex?) and nearby grocery stores and restaurants. There is also plenty of shopping in the towns (Scottsdale, Sedona, Phoenix).
We also had no problem using our cell phones.
I can't say it enough...we loved this place! We hope to stay here again when we return to Arizona!

“Fabulous sunsets!”
Reviewed 1 January 2016 for a stay in November 2015

This is the second time we stayed at the 2 bedroom Ranchero casita and it was just as nice as the last time. The casita is spacious and comfortable with fabulous views of the sunsets.

We spent two week in the two bedroom Ranch with our large dog. We loved the western decor throughout the house. It was well equipped and we enjoyed the enclosed spacious yard areas. Best of all were the views of the hill and the lovely sunsets. We would definitely go again. Would have liked to have a list of nearby restaurants and dining areas.
