Go and stay

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 7 Aug 2017via mobile
We stayed here 2 weeks ago and cannot praise it enough. Everything was excellent and a respectuful relationship between staff and owners. Beautiful tropical setting, lovely rooms, excellent restaurant, excellent service, best setting possible, lovely snorkelling, swimming, delightful staff, willing, helpful and extra touches. Talented musicians, beautiful voices a few evenings at dinner.
Go. We only stayed 4 days and should have stayed longer.
Many thanks to Chris and all the staff

We are really happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and experienced the total package from talented musicians to professional service staff.

Location, is everything and as you say this is all made possible by our amazing location and setting, coupled within this serene and intimate enclave that we designed specifically for couples like you to enjoy. In a busy world we so often don’t allow enough time for ourselves and our loved ones, so recharging the batteries in a friendly romantic environment makes a big difference to our guests.

I never get tired of complementing our amazing staff, they are all amazing, Chris & I run the resort as one BIG family, based on mutual respect that is a win, win by all.

Maybe next time you can stay longer and really embrace the uniqueness of our Island paradise.

Our first visit to Samoa and we were not disappointed. Chris and his staff made us so welcome and were so helpful. The room as perfect, well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. The free minibar and snacks on the bed each night were a nice touch. We stayed first in a reef view villa which was great but then moved to the honeymoon villa which is amazing, perfect for the last few days of our stay.
We hired a car through the resort and Chris showed us on the map places of interest on the island. He ensured we had phone contact so if we needed to ring him while driving around the island we could.
The restauarant was great and we enjoyed all meals. The Fiafia night was a fun night, one of the best I've been to in the islands.
The weather was not the best while we were there but it didn't seem to matter, we still enjoyed a lovely relaxing holiday and would definitely return.

Room tip: All rooms have a view, reef view villas great but honeymoon suite is perfect

It is a pleasure to hear from all our past guests as feedback really helps us in our attempt to grow and adjust to the ever changing needs of our guests.

All our villas have ocean views, but the stunning Honeymoon Pointhouse has ocean on three sides, with views to die for. With all our villas boasting a similar level of furnishings to create an intimate experience for our visiting guests, the Pointhouse is really something else!

We are really glad you appreciated the time our chefs take to create an array of culinary surprises, and with our service staff committed to giving the best service possible we are aiming to complete the total dining experiance.

I will pass on your thanks to Chris, his amazing local knowledge and his daily orientations on where to go & what to see, make sure our guests whether self-exploring with one of our hire cars or enjoying a customized tour make informed decisions on exploring our treasured Isles.

Will await your return, we LOVE returning guests.

A great welcome, the staff are friendly, the view from the honeymoon suite was amazing. The room was immaculate and spacious. The restaurant was a short stroll away, meals were tasty and attractively presented. Swimming was great in the sea and in the pool. It was a relaxing break, highly recommended.

Room tip: The honeymoon suite was fabulous, it had a great outlook of the reef from the deck.

Talofa valued guests

A seabreeze welcome is always the start to a great holiday, so we are really thrilled that you had a "relaxing break".

Luxury comes in many forms and our Honeymoon pointhouse is one of the most sought after accommodations we have. This villa was designed for those requiring the ultimate in luxury, all secluded within a gated walled buttress. While designing the Pointhouse all aspects were considered, from maximizing views with a cantilevered deck that feels like you are on the bow of a boat, to your own private spa pool and hot water outside shower. Whilst views are essential we also believe that it’s only part of the package and we strive to make sure that guests have everything they need for the ultimate vacation.

Enjoying our large infinity pool as well as our pristine lagoon is all part of the experience and being located so close to several of Upolu’s amazing attractions allows our guests the opportunity to explore without lengthy travel.

Thank you for sharing your Seabreeze experience with others and “Highly recommending” our special piece of paradise.

Till next time, Alofas Wendy Chris and our Seabreeze Family

Everything you say is all part of a standard that should be upheld within the tourism industry, but in reality it is hard in larger resorts to give guests a feeling of belonging and that’s why we choose to stay small.

As on sight owners and managers we look at every single aspect of the resort how it functions and how it impacts on guests. That way we can guide our staff in a direction that benefits our guests experience as well as setting the path for good relationships that often last much longer than just a visit?

Thanks for sharing such a positive review we are thrilled that you highly recommend Seabreeze.

Looking forward to having you join us again one day.

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at this boutique resort.

Pros:
- Excellent service from the friendly staff.
- Very clean, well appointed room which was serviced regularly. We enjoyed the towel origami!
- Close to To Sua Trench (about 3km west) which was a highlight of our stay in Samoa.
- Beautiful little beach for swimming, kayaking and snorkelling.
- Relaxed atmosphere. (No TV, restaurant and bar closed by 9pm).

Cons:
- No other options nearby for meals.
- Food was pretty basic and pricey compared to other meals we experienced at our subsequent resorts.
- The resort was at full capacity during our stay. There were never enough loungers for both my husband and I.

Thank you for choosing Seabreeze Resort for your home away from home.

We appreciate your feedback pro’s and cons and we are thrilled that you enjoyed so many of our facilities.

Choosing to have no TV’s in our villas and encouraging couple time is a deliberate attempt to give relief from a western lifestyle and engaging the “Off Button” to be activated, hopefully detaching you from all the stresses of normal living and allowing you to do as much or as little as you like, means you depart feeling refreshed & revitalized. We are thrilled you enjoyed our "friendly staff" who are always here to serve you well after the kitchen closes at 9pm, our bar & restaurant is open for your enjoyment until the last in house guests departs, but it does appears that as mini bars are stocked during dinner, this sometimes encourages an early departure from the restaurant to enjoy the benefits of our A la carte complimentary mini bar?

We will discuss you concerns over our cuisine with our chefs as it’s not the usual feedback that we have had in the past and we wonder why your experience was different, but we will investigate and look into this further.

Our large infinity pool provides plenty of space for couples to have their own space and with 3 orbit/daybeds, eight sun loungers and two sun loungers situated overlooking the ocean there are a total of 13 pool loungers or day beds seating 16 guests, (orbits are a two person day bed) and the with the resort holding a max of 22 guests it’s very unusual that there were insufficient sun loungers for your enjoyment. Our premier villas also have their own daybeds which equates to a lounger or daybed for every guest, but the fact that you were sunloungerless is indeed a concern of which we are truly sorry, unfortunately we are governed by space & giving couples more room between loungers was something we felt was important for intimacy :(

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on our boutique resort.

My wife and I recently spent a week at Seabreeze. It is on the southern coast of Upolu and not near other resorts or dining establishments. It is not a large resort and is nestled in a small cove that has cliff walls on 3 sides and the lagoon in front. So facing south most rooms don't get lots of direct light but the aim is not to spend the days in your room but laze about in the hammock on the verandah, or by the pool looking out over the lagoon.
The reason for my title is that, like an island resort, be prepared to eat your dinner at the resort most nights since you need transport to eat elsewhere!
Thankfully, this is not an issue as the quality of the meals is excellent and is complimented by a high level of professional service by the resort staff.
Our trip package included breakfast, a free 3 course dinner, a minibar that was refreshed daily and a glass of bubbly with some canapes each day. So you will never die of hunger or thirst!
There is a small fleet of rental cars on site & I would recommend you plan on a min of 2 days rental if you want to get around Upolu and enjoy the various sites and views. As a measure of the attention to detail that is symbolic of the resort, if you have no phone they will lend you one while driving, so you can always contact them if you encounter any difficulties.
The staff also take the time to remember you and your preferences. Special mention to Fata, who ensures he learns your name and greets you like a friend.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Seabreeze, enjoyed the food, the ambiance, the company and the service and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

It’s great that you “thoroughly enjoyed” your stay with us. Seabreeze is situated in a small horseshoe bay and as you quite rightly say is isolated from other resorts. Surrounded by the beauty of Mother Nature, the resort was designed to have minimal impact on the natural beauty and most rooms are nestled into the landscape surrounded by coconut palms & tropical gardens.

We are really thrilled that you found the “quality of the meals was excellent and is complimented by a high level of professional service by the resort staff.” We will make sure we pass on you compliments to our army of staff, they are all amazing & have a “can do” attitude, and looking at how they can improve or contribute to making our guests experience the best it can be, is just a part of daily life.

We are really happy that our value added package that was filled with extras and our complimentary cell phones, extending our service beyond the resort, showed our aim to make our guests stays relaxing & trouble free.

Making memories and creating intimate couple time is what we do well, thank you for recommending our “Small Island Resort” to other tripadvisor followers.

Till next time - Alofas Wendy, Chris & our Seabreeze Family.
