Beautiful Apia Somoa

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 27 Apr 2017via mobile
The Seabreeze resort is absolutely breathtaking. We visited for lunch, we were on a cruise ship. The restaurant at the resort is absolutely amazing, delicious food and gorgeous views. We checked on the hotel and they were so nice and let us tour some of the rooms, they were beautiful we made reservations to come back this October. This Island reminds us of Hawaii about 50 years ago.

We see many visitors off the cruise ships, stopping by for a real Island dining experience at our waterfront bar & restaurant. Encouraging our visitors to try our Samoan sampler, a taste of local cuisine, without the full meal is perfect for those off a cruise ship where food is in abundance and you are visiting the catch a glimpse into the REAL Polynesia.

We are really happy that you loved the resort so much that you booked to come back
in October. We will await your return so we can pamper and treat you to everything that is special about Seabreeze and Samoa.

We decided to get away from the hustle and bustle of Auckland for the Easter break and wanted somewhere warm to relax and unwind.

We couldn't have chosen a better destination than Seabreeze. From the moment we were collected from the airport - the refreshing face towels and chilled water was a lovely touch - to the moment we left the staff looked after us and made sure we had an enjoyable stay. They are a real credit to the resort.

The rooms were well laid out and a good size, and the complimentary mini bar was restocked each night with a drink of your choice and a small snack. Again a nice touch.

The on-site restaurant serves a wide range of food that should cater for all tastes. I was hooked on the home made fish fingers appertiser. There is even a wood-fired pizza oven that gets fired up on weekend lunchtimes.

The pool and beach are immaculate and there are kayaks and snorkelling gear available to borrow. Admittedly the snorkelling from the resort wasn't great but there are other spots a short drive away that I'm told were much better. That said, there was enough interest for me to happily while away an hour or so and avoid having to hire a car.

This was our first trip to Samoa and after staying in Seabreeze I can say with certainty that we will be back!

Every now & then I have to pinch myself on how dedicated and versatile our army of staff are. It’s a great feeling to see young boys and girls grow into world class professionals, that have the ability to enhance a guests stay and nurture a feeling of belonging, which cannot be taught but needs to be embedded within their spirit.

We will pass on your compliments to our great Chef, one of the few female head Chefs in Samoa, Salai started with us washing dishes 8 years ago and today leads a team of enthusiastic chefs catering for our guests needs and forever trying new ideas with daily specials a platform to excel.

The coral is slowly coming back, they told us it would take 10 years and here we are 8 years later seeing improvement’s each year. As you say though, only a brief walk to one of the loveliest beaches in Samoa (Vavau Beach) showcases its grotto, and lovely safe snorkelling.

Hope to see you back one day soon, till then, Alofas Wendy, Chris & our Seabreeze family.

Our family spent 6 nights at this resort.
Accommodation and food were excellent with no major problems
I would recommend visiting in their winter as the weather can be very hot and humid.
The owner and staff are excellent.

We have many guests say that Seabreeze is really a home away from home and it’s not unusual that guests return after one days car hire to say “We are staying home” the summer can be hot and humid but unlike its reputation the “wet season” has a lot less rain these days and often the weather is on par if not better than the so call “Dry Season” , but your points are well noted.

Being close to some of Samoa’s best attractions, means that you are never too far away from “home” whilst able to enjoy the stunning white sandy beach of Vavau and of course Samoa’s natural phenomenon that can’t be missed To Sua’s Trench, means that these "Must See's" are accessible within a few minutes transfer or a short walk from the resort.

Thank you for your kind words of support regarding our “excellent staff” It was really our pleasure having you stay with us.

Till next time, Alofas Wendy, Chris & our Seabreeze Family,

My friend and I decided to take a quick break and headed to Seabreeze to unwind for a few days. It was the perfect destination and hotel to do just that.

Food is amazing, they have a really cute pool cocktail bar and our room on the water was incredible. The hotel is also located close to the Ocean trench so we found ourselves walking over to that wonder of the world several times during our trip.

The owners are also very respectful of Samoan culture so learnt a lot and had the pleasure of experiencing the culture and getting to know the locals. Really great experience

Room tip: We had the ocean front room. It was amazing!! Im sure all the rooms are though, but I think ours was the best

Relax, Unwind and rejuvenate among natures natural beauty is exactly why we created our romantic and intimate resort, your words capture us exactly.

We are really happy that you had a “really great experience” and embraced our culture, Seabreeze is far more than a sea, sand and sun escape, it’s about catching a glimpse into an enviable lifestyle where contentment, family and culture are paramount and new friends are encouraged into our extended family, and are treated to an insight into our lifestyle and history. I really don’t know of anywhere in the world that this is done with such sincerity.

Bring the closest resort to the Ocean trench is a real benefit to our guests, walking through the village to the trench is usually met with “Malo” from the villagers along the way, a great way to interact in our safe and picturesque environment.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on your Seabreeze experience.

Alofas Wendy, Chris & our Seabreeze family.

We just got back from eight nights of Honeymoon. The Seabreeze staff are amazing. Friendly and attentive, nothing too much trouble. It's clean and quiet and absolutely on the best part of the island. The food is yummy. Thanks Chris and Wendy you have a great team, and a great resort.
