We have just spent 2 weeks at Lilliana's lovely house in Buenos Aires and had a wonderful time.
The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The big modern kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and there is lots of wardrobe space in each room. Air conditioned throughout but we didn't have the need to use it very often as the house seemed well insulated from the heat.
The pool was a lovely bonus on hot days.
There is a large shopping centre only a 7min walk away with a Walmart for groceries. The fruit and veg was a bit ordinary there though, so pick those up in town when you're out and about. Our recommendation for good bread...a little bakery stall inside Mercado San Telmo. Run by a frenchman, the bread is divine.
Communication with Lilliana was exceptional from the booking process through to checkout. Not that we had the need to contact her very much but I knew that should we need to, an email reply would be very prompt. Check in and out with Lilliana's brother, Ricardo was simple and he was happy to fit in with our arrival/departure times. Thank you Ricardo.
Wi Fi - great downstairs, not so great upstairs.
Transportation - you can flag down taxis in front of the house but we used Uber to travel from the house and generally taxis back. If you rent a car, there is always parking available in front of the house. Personally, I wouldn't rent a car. Uber/taxis are cheap and plentiful and dealing with the traffic/drivers/parking in Buenos Aires would be too stressful.
My only suggestion for improvement, some big comfy cushions on the outside furniture would be nice.
Thank you Lilliana for a wonderful stay. We certainly missed the house when we moved on to Rosario and were staying in a little hotel room!!
