Ok so after seeing different reviews I have to say the main repetitive issue when we were their was guests not getting the rooms they booked or arriving early hours of the morning and finding their rooms hadn't been cleaned (not what you need at that time in the morning). We had a uncleaned room, dirty towels/rubbish etc after complaining to reception we were given a different room with no issues
However others weren't that lucky and had to wait till next day or 2 to get resolved!
We were in rm 411 which was next to the lift with piped lounge music which we ended up playing 'name that tune' that we got used to in the end as constantly in use
The walk to our room was by an unfinished walkway past the staff quarters and very dull lighting which needed good navigation skills !!
This I feel jet2 should have pointed out to hotel when doing their checks before selling rooms
Maids were on the ball and clean towels daily, bins emptied etc
Fresh water in fridge daily( tip is to leave an old ID/credit card in key holder allowing Aircon and fridge on all day)
This hotel is situated on a hillside and although has a lift you still need to walk to your rooms using steps and sometimes lots of them so this is a definite no go if you have walking problems
You have to walk from the main hotel across the road to the pool/beach restaurant and bar approx 200 MTRS,where you can collect your beach towels (free) but only the size of a standard bath towel
The maintenance teams work hard cleaning the grounds all the time but overly hose the paths down which can cause slipping so tread carefully
Buffet food doesn't have a Wow factor but is nice and tasty and pretty basic, fresh omelettes/eggs in the morning
Snacks and Ice cream in the afternoons
Due to being the first year for us Brits the staff don't understand alot of English but were pleasant if not a little shy,a little help understanding different drinks by pointing is a must sometimes
Efes is the beer and genuine coke, tango, sprite is used, coffee from a machine
No glasses are used unless sitting by the bar just plastic cups
You can change money at reception, buses are regular 10 lira to get into oludeniz each
Taxis are like F1 drivers !!!
No entertainment in the hotel but Billy's bar next door with regular nighttime fun
The onsite lifeguard will organise pedalos, paddle boards at a cost which are great fun
The hotel is still very popular with the Turkish and Germans and is very busy now
The scenery is unbelievable and tranquil and water very clear
The fishes swim around you and I fed them with bread,if you go out on the pedalos you may see turtles swimming
Over all the place is very pretty and clean but with a few tweaks will be perfect

Such a beautiful hotel with the most Amazing views.
Waking up every morning and drinking my Tea on the beach staring out to the lagoon.
We had a fabulous time we met lovely people and the Staff were so lovely. The Maids Barstaff reception staff (Mauel) was also Amazing.
We stayed next door to the Managing Director and he was the best neighbour.

Got off to a shaky start with the wrong room, rectified 4 days later and eventually got the room we'd payed extra for, I recommend booking a superior beach front room if you have mobility problems, as lots of stairs to the other rooms......Great location staff are fab(reception to cleaners) and cant do enough for you. Emrah who runs the bar and soooo much more there with all the hours he does, is a credit to them We had a few massages on site which were absolutely amazing WOW Highly recommend....Food got a bit boring in the 2nd week, but still lovely though...Definitely book again here that's for sure...Love the private beach The strip is only 2mins in a whacky races ride by taxi‍♂️ if you've done it, you'll know what I mean lol 'light speed'...9/10 from us, always room for improvement, right!!!

Myself and my Husband stayed at the Meri from the 17th to the 31st May we had a fabulous holiday, the views from our room were lovely we had a superior sea view room, staff are friendly and helpful some have limited English but get by and with a little patience you can get what you’re asking for, Onur in reception is always very friendly and extremely helpful,we arrived in the early hours of the morning and had a slight problem with our room,by 10am Onur had sorted out the problem and moved us to our new room with amazing views, hotel has got it’s own beach which is always spotlessly clean, the location of the hotel is good about a 15 minute walk into Olu Deniz. We will definitely be booking to stay again Thank You to all the staff

Great hotel, beautiful beach with a decent sized pool.
Views are incredible...supreme sea view well worth the upgrade.
Onur welcomed us and was very welcoming
Emrah working day and night was incredible too.
In all honesty all staff were very attentive....Highly recommended *A*

Room tip: If you have push chairs or wheel chairs definitely ask for supreme sea view as the other rooms have lots of steps. Hold on tight in the taxis 🤣
